Lost Play, Pause, Skip, Progress Bar on iPad

I have two iPads with Plex for iOS running on each. On one of the iPads I updated Plex app to 2026.14.0. When playing a tv show there are no longer ANY of the visual playback controls. No progress bar, play, pause, skip forward, skip backward, show information that's normally in the top left hand corner. No stop button in the top right hand corner. Nothing. Is this a bug in the new version or a "feature"?

Fix 1 thing break 5 others!

Keep rolling out fixes only to break others in the process.
The iPad app is super buggy at the moment, and what’s happened to the play/pause, forward/back 10sec buttons? They’ve all disappeared and trying to achieve the same thing with the playback bar is near impossible.
No QC of even basic media playback!

2026.14.0 is completely broken

All ability to interact with the screen when a video is playing is newly broken in 2026.14.0. You can’t pause, show subtitles, show info, or even exit. You literally have to force exit the app to stop a video! This should never have been released. It’s tragic because previous releases were generally fine.

Don’t update latest ipad version till they release bug fix

I 💕plex but new ipad release has no buttons once the film starts playing. toilet and popcorn breaks are tricky without a pause button lol
