Frustrated
I used to use this two years ago. Trying to use it again but the app won’t open. Keeps closing when I click open. There is no update showing up. Is this a defunct app now? I liked using it.
Literally life saving!!
When I say I might have quit my job without this app, I mean it!! I teacher 6 classes everyday (200 kids in total) so grading all their work takes forever! Plickers cuts my grading time by 2/3 and gives me instant data on what kids know and don’t know. It’s a must have for any stressed out teacher!!!

Message kept popping up
Use to enjoy using this APP with students last year. Tried bringing it back to classroom this year however can’t sign in through APP. A message asking me to continue kept popping up and disappearing as if glitched.
I tried uninstalling and installing, did not solve the problem.

I haven’t used this app in awhile but was going to have my ESL students answer questions to engage them in answering without computers. I made sure I had all updates on app and phone and it won’t open. Just crashes from start. Can’t use.

Bug fixes
Bug fixes are still needed. During scanning (camera) mode the app will often exit the mode early before I can scan in all the card. There should be a way to recover from this (reactivate the question).
The Android App Works Better Thank iOS
When I used this for the first time in class, there were a lot of delays between my app and what was showing up on the projector from my coteacher’s computer. When I moved to the next question on my phone, it didn’t move on the projector for students. My coteacher uses an Android and her phone had a much faster connection to send commands to project percentage correct and other data to students.

Keeps crashing!!!!!
I love to use this for my exit tickets in the classroom, however it crashes every other day. I have to consistently delete and download onto my phone in order for it to work.
I’d love to be able to zoom in!
I love the app but there are times when students are a bit far away. Please update where you can pinch and zoom to get closer! Thanks Plickers

I must be missing something. I downloaded it- have seen others do it but have no idea how to get started and there are zero tutorials. Not user friendly for newbies

Could be a good app, but having to go on a website and enrolling people and making question sets is a bit of a pain.

Great idea, terrible execution
I have a love hate relationship with Plickers. It’s an excellent idea and it scans flawlessly. You can arrange questions in folders BUT when you want to make a quiz you have to choose from ALL questions lumped together at once! You can’t do it in advance. It is a nightmare. Sure, now they’ve added a paywall so you can actually group your questions into sets. I literally just gave my students a quiz on the wrong chapter because this app is so awful in execution. Thanks “we will always be free” Plickers. I’d pay upfront for this—I even paid for laminated cards, but I’m not paying monthly for an app that does one thing. Don’t waste your time. There are better solutions.

Not working. Support requests are useless
Having not been able to use this for months, the support team asked me if I had ‘switched it off and on again’. Everything on my account has been deleted, I have deleted and redownloaded the app on multiple devices and it’s all just blank. This was a really good app until it all disappeared. I’ll look for another one and showcase that to my school

I loved using this in my classroom until everything changed!
I LOVED plickers! This was such an easy to use formal and informal assessment until everything changed. I was just reading the most recent reviews, and it seems many people feel the same way. Plickers made everything so much easier on the teacher. It was quick and easy. Now, I am struggling to make it work. I am glad I used it last year, during my observation, because it worked well and added points to my observation scores. The next time, only a few days after my observation, I tried to use it, and y’all had changed everything. I haven’t been able to use it with my students since then. I HOPE THAT YOU WILL LISTEN TO ALL THE TEACHERS THAT LOVED PLICKERS! Please take it back to what it was, so all of the struggling teachers out there(myself included) can use it with ease.

Can no longer use
I loved Plickers and used it for 2 years with my 5th graders, they loved it also. This year they say they upgraded the app, or changed the format. Whatever they have done, I can no longer use it and I am so disappointed. I have tried, I did not give up easily, but I just cannot get it to perform like it use to. It was so user friendly, now it is a nightmare.

Update broke so many parts. Disappointed.
I was excited to try Plickers in my courses after seeing at a workshop, and initially they worked really well. The students enjoyed seeing the results appear immediately, and the results were easy to incorporate into grades.
The new update, however, broke what was working so well. The new question format has tiny answers that are difficult to read even right near the screen, the images are cut off when displaying from an iPad (which has no landscape mode), and students can no longer see their card register as scanned (so I miss some of them).
To top this off, today the questions were displaying with the correct answer obviously selected (the letter was highlighted). No longer fun or useful - I will sadly put away my printed cards and shelve plans to invest in laminated versions.

Was Amazing... Now Useless
Plickers WAS my favorite app as a teacher. This update takes away its most useful feature... creating questions on the mobile app.

A very good app that just got worse.
The old version of this app did an excellent job. You could take class quizzes with ease and the class data was easy to access. The new version stops you reviewing the class. You have to look at each question individually. Much less efficient. Shame the old version was very good.
It’s an amazing app..when it works
I have seen plickers in action, and it’s incredible when it works. However, when I tried to use it myself, after signing into the app, it crashed any time I tried to open it. I tried restarting my device, getting the newest software update, re-downloading the app, using a different network, using a different device, but nothing worked. When I contacted customer service, they were only suggesting things I have already tried and wrote in my email. I wish they would have been more helpful, but as of now, I will no longer be using the app. It’s a waste of storage on my devices. If they fix this issue I would consider downloading it again.
