TLDR: App is NSFW heavy, NOT safe for kids, filled with scammers, and now fully lacks security and moderation features.
Any reviews you see that don’t mention any of the things in my review are most likely paid, since we know plink is not above faking engagement.
Also, plink might reply to this review with a generic copy pasted response about always working to improve things. This is completely false. I’ve had this app for 4 years, they have only DECREASED app quality and security by literally removing authentication procedures and removing most of the automod behaviors.

This has never been a legitimate gaming app. Moderation was always subpar, support was nonexistent, the app was laggy and slow.
Since they updated it, it’s way worse now. It’s 80% bots and bot promoters, moderation basically doesn’t exist, real people have been pushed out of the feed by fake accounts, the app is still buggy, and they’ve actually REMOVED some major security features and severely cut back on their automatic moderation system.
Since the update, bots use OF and insta models for their photos and spam fake posts with Zangi and WhatsApp numbers. The photos they share are sometimes pornographic, and despite being reported constantly, they aren’t removed. I’ve never seen more porn in the chats in all my years on Plink than I have since the update. Nor have I ever seen so many people go to the chats to let everyone know someone is a bot because they’ve been scammed by them. Some of these bots have been in the weekly top posters for weeks, and promoter accounts are set up with an automated share system that just spams reshares of the bot posts.
Porn and other banned imagery used to be automatically detected by the automod and removed and a ban placed on the account, and now all it does is add a warning overlay that can be removed by tapping on it, and no ban is given.
This app has minors on it, LOTS of them. It says it’s 12+, and there are regularly kids in these group chats surrounded by often very adult conversations, porn, scammers, predators, etc.
Plink users themselves have had to come together to find ways to get predators and scammers off the platform, putting in the work that plink staff should be doing.
In recent weeks I have even seen spammed message ads from bot accounts with contact links that explicitly mention things like child pornography being available to anyone interested.
Most new users don’t last long because the app is such a toxic and unsafe place, and most longtime users have left or moved to other platforms.
This app could have been genuinely good, but it’s not. I have hundreds and hundreds of screenshots from the years I’ve had plink that clearly show all of the things I’ve mentioned, as well as emails to and from support confirming some of it indirectly.

Don’t get this app it’s full of weird men that pose as a female and put weird videos on there profile and will either scam you or try and meet up with you and kidnap you or do bad things to you

Every time someone someone adds you they give you either add my telegram add my signal or they just send their discord and then when you add their discord, they start out polite and then they go. Oh I’m looking for sugar baby. Would you do so-and-so for money for me or for me to give you money you’d have to send $25 or $30 like I joined this app to make friends and play games with not find a sugar mom.

Buggy
As soon as I was creating a profile a loading circle of eternity popped up and as I closed my app to restart it, it completed the profile itself without me putting any information in so now I’m stuck with a dumb username and info. Thanks Devs

I’ve only met and gamed with one decent person from this app and she too was sick of all the sex bs.
Once you open the app all you see are half naked girls and some real people….but most of them play the generic games I find boring.

50k bots the idea is good but you won't find anyone because no one exists all the profiles are bots, I don't recommend it

This app is full of scammers. A lot of users try to trick people out of their money, and I’ve also come across accounts selling nude content, which makes the platform feel unsafe. It doesn’t seem like enough is being done to remove fake profiles or protect real users. I would not recommend this app to anyone looking for a genuine experience. Please improve your moderation and security.

Terrible app
Idea is cool. The forced AI slop avatars are not, neither is trying to make me pay for the app.
Biggest issue is the report system. Been reporting the same guy for genuine years but every time I come back he's still on it, sexually harassing people, bullying people, throwing slurs etc. app genuinely just doesn't read reports

DONT DOWNLOAD 0 stars. five so its seen long but worth reading
i got this app for gaming and friends. but theres only scammers and sexual content everywhere on here some of it is users stealing Of models, p stars and or Random peoples pictures. you'd think the devs would care but even the people that aren't scammers or bots are people in the community that are also posting sexual content. and some of them are definitely under age this app could have been somthing great but its not worth it especially if you are genuinely looking for gaming buddies, or just friends to talk to. you're better off just joining communities on your gaming consuls or finding discord communities for specific games. and it also doesn't save your sign in information.

It seems like this app is full of bots. I keep being asked for my discord or iMessage but profiles that are not trying to get on the game. It’s really energy draining.

Plink is pretty good all the guys on the app are pretty chill just watch out for all the girls because they are all %100 scammers. Be careful
Scams, AI, and fake people
I used to use this app a long time ago and found some great friends. I got off of it for some personal reasons with life. I just downloaded it not to long ago and what a regret that was. Made a brand new account, put up the games a I play on a daily, then a profile pic. I hit complete and then it shows me people that share the same game. I swiped right on the first person I saw. Instantly a match and they were messaging me like crazy. I didn’t think much about it bc this “person” was talking normal, but then I started realizing something. This person would finish a three piece message with a question everytime. Like I said didn’t think much about it. Well after a week of talking to this “person” I asked them if they would be down to game (considering they have over 10k followers and over 10k following). They said yeah I can play tomorrow. Well tomorrow shows up they respond with “oh I’m sorry I’m real busy this week can we do it next week?” I’m like sure. Next week shows up “oh I told you we would game next week not this week.” So at this point I’m already done with this app bc I’ve been getting messages like crazy from fake girls that DONT even play video games. They’re either there to send their nudes or looking for a relationship. So next week shows with this “person” and I message them if there excited. They come back with “I’m real sorry to get your hopes up but can we do it next week I’m real busy.” Nope you’re a fake person and I’m done with this app. So this app is trashed don’t even bother downloading it. Waste of time.
