Great software and app for ease of use. I reached out to them with a question about durability of the rubber on the wheel for Carta. Mine began to fall apart over 2yrs old but it seemed to be a flaw in the material. Matt took no time to resolve this issue. Replacing the unit free of cost and shipping the defected unit back so they can pin point issues if there are any. Top notch customer service.

Very accurate
Great product!!
Simply does not work.
I had the plot measuring wheel sitting in my car for quite some time. Finally took it out to give it a shot and after about 30-40 minutes of trying to get the Bluetooth hooked up and the app to work I gave up. Had to buy a new wheel at Home Depot.

Game Changer
I started using the wheel and app last August and I’ve been blown away since then. Whether it’s a simple measurement or something bigger, getting estimates for measurements has never been easier.
The app has had various updates since I began using it and when I needed support, someone was always happy to help me out! It definitely takes a little time to get used to using but the tutorial videos in the app are extremely helpful!

Software bugs
Worked great at first. Now the app will not load on my phone. Turns a great tool into a plastic paper weight.
A MUST have for Landscaping!
The Carta has not only made life easier for us, but it’s made us more profitable. Being able to get precise measurements has allowed for exact mulch, rock and soil reduces waste and over purchasing materials. Once you start using it, your only regret will not be buying sooner!
Extremely Disappointed I had high hopes.
I wanted to love this app and the PLOTT wheel. The wheel is easy to use but is only accurate if you use it perfectly. Example measuring a patio seems easy enough but if you have steps or even potted plants that you have to go around it messes up the whole measurement. The wheel will say I’m close to the ending point when I’m not or visa versa. For me this is no good!
I got an AR app for taking square footage and it works only half the time. Then I realized PLOTT has an AR measuring tool on the app and I was happy again. I’ve been using to for a couple weeks and I’m realizing it’s not anywhere close to being accurate!!!! It’s adding about 25/30% more square footage. I have lost customers over this issue and now I’m very displeased with it. I will say it physically works and does not freeze the only issue is it’s way off and you can’t save the AR floor plan. Example I just measured a pool deck for a customer minus the pool it came up to 997sqft. True sqft is actually 747sqft. That’s a $1,200 difference to my customer. That’s a huge mistake. Fix it please and ASAP it works and I want to love it but dang I’m loosing money. Back to the old school way of measuring for me.

Wheel is good...app is garbage
Why does this app not do anything it it supposed to do? AR measurement does not work. Selecting a background is not useable. Paths do not work the majority of the time. App freezes constantly. Carta you have a great concept that has potential but the app is almost useless. Please fix these bugs

Sharing doesn’t work from the app. Called for support and was told I had to convert the file into another form and then send it. Person who answered the phone didn’t seem to understand how to correct the issue in the app.

Not ready for prime time.
The idea behind the app is promising, but not ready for prime time. The tutorials don’t line up with the app. Frustrating!

Some day this might be really cool, but they have a loooong way to go.
-You can’t zoom once you add a background picture and this feature only marginally works about 50% of the time.
-despite returning to the exact same spot, the path has never completed
-guide mode just plain doesn’t work
-very limited options for manipulating the paths
-when you start a new path it just starts in the middle, not where you are.
So the majority of this app is currently unusable. I feel like I’ve completely wasted my money. It would be easier and quicker to print a satellite image, use a standard measuring wheel, and write down the measurements

Can’t share
After mapping the area, I’ve tried to share it with other people who have the app, but the message is blank, it’s a major clam, can someone help?
Great use, not great execution
Tutorials are non stop, and the ratios and measurements are skewed. I want this to work but it would be fast for me to cut out pieces of paper and rearrange them on the wall with tape
How do you stop tutorials?
I’m stuck on the tutorials and can’t actually use the app!
Hardware doesn't exist!
We bought the cubit on indiegogo a year ago, this app is probably good but the hardware is vapour ware as we still don't have the hardware that connects to the app (cubit), we are VERY disappointed with this company, don't be scammed out of your money!
