No response
I downloaded the app and couldn’t create a user profile. I had to email the team and someone responded with a link and I was able to get in. Next time I tried to log in, it wouldn’t let me in and the reset password link didn’t work. I have emailed twice trying to get in to cancel and have gotten no response. I went to the website for the app and tried to reset my password that way and the link never came. I am still being charged for an app I can’t even use.

I absolutely LOVE this app!!
I have spent an absolutely unreasonable number of hours in Plotwist, and I mean that as the highest possible compliment.
This app has enabled my worst author tendencies in the best way. I have created sprawling storylines, alternate timelines, complicated character relationships, questionable romantic decisions, emotional devastation, dragons, chaos, and enough lore to require actual recordkeeping. I open Plotwist daily intending to write for twenty minutes and emerge several hours later wondering what year it is.
The storytelling itself is incredibly immersive, but what really earned the five stars for me is the team behind it. When I ran into an issue, they were responsive, kind, and genuinely cared about helping me. It never felt like shouting into a support-ticket void. There are actual humans over there who clearly care about the writers using what they’ve built, and that means a lot.
And that deserves some extra emphasis, because the customer service has been genuinely fantastic. The creators clearly care about their users, not just the product. When something matters to you, they treat it like it matters to them too. They listen, they communicate, and they put real effort into helping. That kind of care is incredibly reassuring when you’ve poured an absurd amount of time, creativity, and emotional investment into the worlds you’re building.
Plotwist is still growing and evolving, and somehow that makes me even more excited about it. I’ve already watched it get better at understanding my characters, my world, and my particular brand of narrative nonsense.
If you enjoy creating characters and then making increasingly unhinged decisions about their lives, I cannot recommend Plotwist enough.
Five stars. My characters would probably give it fewer, but they have suffered greatly and cannot be trusted to review objectively.

Love It
I seriously love this app. I don’t know what I did before it. I have been using it for over a year now and I am so pleased with how it has grown. It is so fun and emotionally gratifying creating stories with Plotwist. The team behind the scenes are awesome. They are accessible and really care to hear what we have to say. The best thing they did was create a discord server because we can all geek out together and share stories. I love feeling apart of the Plotwist community.

Horrific
The AI targets specific characters AND MURDERS BABIES!!! I have complained about the app and have been bullied and harassed and told to leave the app because it wasn't made for autistic ppl. I've been gaslit and told I'm manipulating the AI system rather than them checking my account. They ignore the proof I give and then they delete my stories on me. I cannot even export my stories now and they refuse to answer me. I have asked for someone other than Lukas who is the nastiest one but he refuses to allow anyone else to speak to me even when I first joined I spoke to different ppl. I have screen shot proof of all of this.
