I cannot check my balance
SCAM APP/SERVICE
I this is the only debit card I’ve owned that charges you to use their card for every transaction otherwise you have to pay a monthly fee. The app is useless it doesn’t show you the card balance so it’s just a BIG SCAM!
Terrible
This has to be one of the worst banking apps I’ve ever used. Card will not show up in the app and always an error that they are working to fix. It’s been happening since the day I started using this app which has been 4-5 days now. Will delete soon if there is no way to check card balance. There is no use for it

Waste of time
Doesn’t allow me to link debit card. When trying to request help via the app. You get two options. Call or fill out a form online. When you call. You get placed on hold and transferred to someone else who doesn’t know what they’re doing. You can’t complete the online form. Cause the drop down boxes make you select an option that isn’t there. Therefore won’t submit your requests.

Pls will change the rules as they go , your money will be made unavailable to you for reasons out of your control, then when you attempt to communicate with higher level help , you will be kept from contacting management , I have never experienced such unpleasant, unprofessional financial situation in my life , RUN FROM THEM - bad bad bad practices and find a another bank , or financial institution

They hold your prepaid money for 2 weeks
Do not cancel any orders because they will hold your money for 2 weeks or longer which is ridiculous. I canceled an Amazon order on 7/10 I called customer service and they said there’s nothing they can do my money won’t be returned until 7/19. It’s 7/19 and now they’re telling me it won’t be returned until midnight which is 7/20. They’re banks are closed Saturday am I really going to get my grocery money on by midnight or will they continue to give me the run around. DO NOT USE PLS. Money goes missing from your card which has happened to me and my sister and other customers I’ve spoken to. They steal they keep your money do not use them.

No account/ routing numbers
So I added money to my PLS card and I need to make a payment for a shed. Unfortunately, the shed people are telling me that they’re going to charge me extra money to use a credit card/debit card. Since there are other cash apps that have the ability to have a routing number, etc., is it possible to do this with PLS as well?
PLS really saved my business after my purse was stolen and they were able to cash a check for me because I was already in their system whereas Chase Bank wouldn’t cash the check even though I had an account with them and they had seen me hundreds and hundreds of times. I appreciate the way that PLS is able to keep their customers moving financially.
I wish I understood the fee structure better so that I could account for that reduction in my money.

So far it's great and they cashed my ssi check when no one else would. 👌

I had a hard time with it at first the app itself, but after a while, I was able to get into it and use it. I like it a lot. It doesn't take me three hours to figure out how much money I have in the back because it's been a busy week and everybody's sick and blah blah blah I like it.
