Impossible to connect
App is horrible
It should be simple! One long video (or a few longish ones —at least 30min), so that you know where started, where you are and what’s next!
Broken
Frustrating to use after moving cloudguru to pluralsight
Crashed
crashing on iphone 12 with latest update
Went downhills fast
Pluralsight on Apple TV Box
iOS version!
View constantly switches
Login process is useless
Pluralsight, if you cannot get something as simple as logging in correctly, you should be ashamed. I won’t be recommend your company any longer.
You bought ACloudGuru and now you have managed to kill it , you incompetent wipers of baboons bottoms,
The courses are great the app is poorly done.
Issues:
Logout less than 24 hours after a fresh login.
Logout deletes your downloaded content.
Cant get to my bookmarked courses quickly.
Media control are suppose to fade out not remain in front of the video the entire time.
Inconsistent controls across devices.
Im writing this instead of watching the content I had planned to watch.
No Option to Download Courses
These newer courses don’t show the options for bookmarking either so the only way to “save” them is to add to a channel, although half the time watching doesn’t keep your progress. So I have to remember where I left off last.
Great platform.
Keep up to date on IT education
Very poor application
Bait and switch scheme
Mixed bag
The app, however, leaves a lot to be desired. Try to use it on anything other than a high speed, stable connection and you are bombarded with “you are not logged on”, “you are not connected”, and “something went wrong” messages.
More often than not downloaded courses are removed, or if they are there, you are simply presented with an hourglass.
My advice to the developers would be to trust your paying customers more rather than trying to lock everything down to the extent it becomes unusable.
All I wanted to do was keep on top of my learning on the train into the office each day, but it is proving to be much harder and more frustrating than it should be :(
New licensing
“As part of integrating A Cloud Guru into the Pluralsight platform, we are terminating your lifetime course access license to the software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering of A Cloud Guru on February 1, 2025 due to the plan being retired.”
I will not use pluralsight going forward and would not recommend either. This is pure evil and greed.
