Wth update?

Ok

Too many ads every few minutes

Title is review: Too many ads every few minutes

It was a 4

Just like that upgrade now I have to turn my phone just to change the channels. Unless I am I’m missing something this blows chunks

Free and functional

I downloaded the app because it had a slow I couldn’t find elsewhere. I figured it would immediately ask my info, require that I provide it and sell my data. Or there would be so many in app advertisements that it wasn’t worth the hassle. To my pleasant surprise, I found it quick to join. My info wasn’t required. I found what I was looking for (and so much more!). There are ads while watching shows but nothing excessive. There have to be some when it’s provided at no cost. At the end of the day, it does offer good shows and movie for free! I can watch some commercials breaks for that! I’m a fan and I do recommend PlutoTV. 🙂

New update is horrible

The new update for Samsung tv’s is horrendous. When it works at all, the only way to change the channel is to exit, select new channel then click start. That’s 3 button clicks on 3 different buttons to go to the next channel in line. Most of the time when I turn the tv on, select Pluto tv and I get a 3005 error that you can’t back out of. Pluto used to be the only app I used to watch tv. Unfortunately I will have to find a new one now. Fix and I will change my rating.

Mission impossible

I like the app is very fast and I can watch all the old movies that I like so yeah, it’s a great app

They took away the LiveTV guide and made glitchy almost unusable for iPad. No more zooming on LiveTV

No more channel guide, when trying to fullscreen there is a dumb little “Home” “LiveTV” Search magnifying glass widget that is permanently stuck at the top of the screen in fullscreen mode. This will definitely cause burn in on iPad Pro OLED displays!!! Also you can no longer zoom in on 4:3 TV!!!

Talk about breaking a perfectly good app….

So now I either have to watch my old 4:3 TV shows with 4 giant black bars on all sides top and bottom left and right with Burn in causing widget floating above the now 7” TV window instead of a full 13” TV. And that’s their idea of “Fullscreen”. What a joke!

I figured out kind of a work around if you use the PlutoTV website in Firefox it allows the channel guide and fullscreen zoomed to display size still. This doesn’t work in Safari or Chrome.

Please fix the app back to the way it was!

Update sucks

With the update you can’t swipe up or down to change channels. This was really handy especially for Big Brother live feeds. Please bring this feature back!

UI changes for the worse and latest version

– favorites are listed in reverse order, requiring scrolling to get to #1 favorite channel
- when looking at channel list, future shows are no longer displayed so can't see what's coming up
- when viewing program in full screen, there's no way to get back to the channel list. work around is tapping "home ", then "live TV", then going to find the channel again (while murdering under breath that there's got to be a better free TV app out there, just waiting to reach the breaking point to drop this one and go find it)

Any chance the Devs will allow users to switch back to the UI that worked well?

Free free free (light ads)

I have Netflix, HBO, Disney, basically all of the main streaming services. They work well, but I want classics and real comedy movies. You know comedy from the early 2000s, and I can’t find movies like that anywhere besides Tubi and Pluto TV. Tubi is also a good app, but the ads are almost 2 minutes each and posted several times throughout the movies. I’m almost an hour into Little Nikky using Pluto and not even a single ad yet. so far so good five stars.❤️ Yes they do have ads, but not as bad as others.

Bad

Doesn’t show the movies and show that they say they have,

Auto play

App is fine, but it immediately autoplaying whatever movie they’ve decided to push is annoying.

EDIT: Right, I forgot why I didn’t use this. No language options, and it decided I must prefer Spanish no matter what. Deleted.

Garbage app

Unbelievably bad app. Like it was coded by a high schooler, one that was currently failing their computer science class. App locks constantly requiring it a force restart and-of course-another 2-3 minutes of ads. In a two hour movie expect to sit through 25-30 minutes of ads spread across 8-10 breaks. Will not watch again.

Great app!

Really enjoy this app. It’s the only app that has Jane the Virgin free to watch.

Ads galore

Deleting. I downloaded to watch one move which was 2hrs. Checked my screen time I spent 30 extra minutes watching ads every 6 minutes. So annoying!!!! 1.5 minutes every 6!!!!

Recent update: Still sucks!

PlutoTv doesn’t work with VPN’s (ExpressVPN)

Horrible update

Totally trashed my favorites order and no more listings to see what I want to see next.

poor pluto is not a planet
