What's New in Ply
1.1
May 17, 2026
This update brings a friendlier first launch and a flexible way to split bigger projects into parts. • Welcome tour - a short walkthrough explains rows, repeats, and auto-advance the first time you open Ply. • Project sections - split a single project into named parts you track separately (think sleeves, body, collar). Existing projects can convert in place: move their current progress into a new section or start the section fresh. Sections sync between iPhone and Apple Watch alongside the rest of your projects. • Cleaner counter mechanics - rows now count completed rows in the current repeat, starting at 0 and ticking up to 1 on your first tap. When auto-advance is on, hitting your row goal lands on the goal as a milestone; the next tap rolls into the new repeat. You can also tap minus past zero to step back into the previous repeat. Rapid taps across rollovers now count reliably. • Support Ply - a new "Leave a rating" link in Settings if you'd like to support the app on the App Store. Thanks for knitting with Ply.
