A very worthwhile investment!
I am almost through the first series and have learned so much. I started spinning 12 years ago in a small guild but never took actual lessons. I spun a lot but was never consistent in what I produced. The guild closed after a couple years and my wheel sat idle for too long. This online guild has been so informative but also has inspired me to spin again. This is a great resource for any spinner!

Great guild, limited app
Ply guild is great! Definitely join it! Learn to spin-what an amazing craft. Excellent teaching videos. But they are spinners- not programmers and they didn’t make a good choice of developer here. This app is pretty minimal. Not full access compared to the web browser version- for example forums not available. I’m currently trying to figure why my teaching content video “episodes” are limited to a few from last year- nothing from current offerings. Very frustrating. There’s no useful help section. The app is bare bones and hard to navigate, and now seems like content is blocked from updates… no way to figure what to do.

Fantastic resource
Absolutely love this online guild. I find the lessons to be delivered in such a warm and approachable manner. Love the diverse group of teachers, with different perspectives and experiences. Also thank you including spindle spinning techniques and how to use this tool in different ways, I feel like spindles are overlooked once we get past the beginner videos, as well as undervalued.

Ply spinners guild is the best resource for experienced spinners
I’ve been spinning for years and Ive learns so much This is a great resource.
Great ap for a great spinners guild
Absolutely love this spinning guild. From beginnerto advanced, everyone who loves spinning will find this guild helpful.
The ap itself has a few minor shortcomings when compared to the website but also has many benefits. The forums and the spin in chat threads aren’t available on the app but this is made up for by the portability and intuitive navigation.
The calibre of the teaching is outstanding and the variety of topics is great. Love the accessibility and inclusiveness of the content.
A handful of the earliest videos are a little out of frame (cut see what the teachers hands are doing) but this issue is resolved early and the clear close ups of the twisting fibre and wheel are very useful.
I recommend this guild for any aspiring hand spinners and fellow fibre obsessives.
