DSM
That is great!
good but....
This is a good version of the printed version.
However, there seems no way to zoom in and the print is small in portrait and even worse in landscape

Major bug
This app has a major bug. It only works about 20% of the time for me. When you launch it, it displays a full page ad for 10 seconds, then goes on to the magazine. In theory, at least. In reality, the ad counts down from 10 to 1, then re-displays again. And again and again....
Ultimately, you have to uninstall it and re-install it to get it to work. For a short little while, at least. Then the whole bug reappears. Bummer.

Not made for iPhone
Showing pages straight from the print edition might work on an iPad but it's just silly on a phone. With no formatting, broken links and a 5 second landing advert for the culprits, this is a real waste of PM's decent content.
Good for the go
I'm a subscriber to the PME print version so I guess this may be a little biased! As a magazine it's a very decent offering for the iPad and I look forward to updates (video would be nice). It doesn't take too long to download the whole edition but then the picture quality is slightly degraded (always a speed vs sharpness vs space issue). Overall a nice look and feel - and it's free!
