About

Pocket 2110 is a professional NMOS routing controller built for broadcast engineers working with SMPTE ST 2110 IP networks. Discover devices, route signals, schedule routes ahead of time, and visualise your entire signal flow — all from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. AUTOMATIC DEVICE DISCOVERY Pocket 2110 uses Bonjour/mDNS to automatically discover NMOS nodes on your local network. No manual IP configuration needed — just open the app and your ST 2110 senders and receivers appear instantly. Pull-to-refresh keeps your device list current as equipment comes online or goes offline. ONE-TAP SIGNAL ROUTING Route any source to any destination with a single tap. Pocket 2110 uses the NMOS IS-05 Connection Management API to stage and activate routes instantly — including full SDP transport file handling. Clear routes just as easily, or select "None" to disconnect a destination. A live SDP status indicator shows whether each source has a valid manifest available. SCHEDULED ROUTING Plan routes ahead of time. Pick a source, destination, date and time, and Pocket 2110 will execute the route automatically when the scheduled time arrives. Media type tags (Video, Audio, Ancillary) help you identify sources at a glance. Schedule "None" to auto-clear a destination at a specific time. SIGNAL FLOW VISUALISATION See your entire SMPTE 2110 network as an interactive signal flow diagram. Draggable device nodes display senders and receivers, with bezier curves showing active connections between them. Tap any connection for full routing details. DEVICE INSPECTION Drill into any discovered NMOS node to explore its senders, receivers, and connection details. View and export raw SDP files directly from sender endpoints. ROUTE LOGGING & PDF EXPORT Every route action is logged with timestamp, source, destination, and result. Export your route log history as a PDF report — perfect for documentation, troubleshooting, and handover. BUILT FOR ALL APPLE DEVICES Adaptive layout works beautifully on iPhone, iPad, and Mac (via Mac Catalyst). Sidebar navigation on larger screens, compact layout on iPhone. Dark interface designed for control rooms and low-light environments. PRIVACY FIRST Pocket 2110 operates entirely on your local network. No data is collected, no analytics, no tracking, no ads. Your network stays your network. Pocket 2110 communicates with NMOS IS-04 (Discovery & Registration) and IS-05 (Connection Management) APIs over your local network. Equipment must support NMOS and advertise via mDNS for automatic discovery. Pocket 2110 was tested on Blackmagic Design products

What's New in Pocket 2110

V2.5

August 17, 2026

New Features Audio Monitoring — Listen to any ST 2110-30 stream on your device, with per-channel level meters and live packet statistics. Set channel count, bit depth and sample rate by hand when there's no SDP, or listen to any group by address. PTP Monitoring — Watch grandmaster identity, clock class, message rates and ST 2059 locking status live on the network, with an event log and multiple masters tracked per domain. NMOS API Console — Browse a node's IS-04 and IS-05 API directly from the app, with shortcuts to common endpoints and raw response bodies you can share. Nodes can be added by address when mDNS can't reach them. Packet Capture & Video Preview — Record up to 10 seconds of a stream from Signal Probe as a .pcap file for Wireshark, then preview the picture on device: ST 2110-20 frames are reassembled from the raw RTP payloads, with resolution and frame rate read straight off the stream. Improvements Bandwidth Calculator: audio and link headroom — Add ST 2110-30 audio channels to the total, and see a "Does It Fit?" breakdown of the stream against common link rates, with warnings when a link has no burst headroom left. Salvo recall results — Recalling a salvo now offers a View Routes button, showing which routes were applied successfully and which failed. Grouped node highlighting — In 2110 Routing Icons with Group Nodes on, selecting a source or destination now highlights the other nodes on the same device that will move with it. Millisecond schedule timers — Schedule Route timers now run to millisecond precision, and you can type your own timer value. Schedule by date or custom clock — Choose whether a scheduled route fires at a date and time, or when your custom clock reaches a set timecode.
