Such a great concept of an app for those of us would love the updates from congress. Just downloaded but it still has 2024 as the last update. Please dont give up! Hell, charge of u have to.

I just discovered this app, today, and it seemed that it updated just fine. But then I saw a note saying it would no longer be developed. But, it was just updated 2 weeks ago!
Im not complaining, and I get college is a thing (kinda), but this is a really useful app, worthy of existing! It would be pretty great if you could get bipartisan support to keep it going!

Not kept current
I stumbled upon this app today and thought it would be helpful. Sadly, I did some lookups and all I saw were bills worked on in the last Congressional session. This would be handy if it could be maintained. I cannot imagine how to do this to continually mirror Congress.gov, but that is what is needed. Until then, I will keep using the govāt site. Itās pretty good except maybe for latency times.

Could be useful but itās outdated. It doesnāt list my current representative, and the listings are from last year.

This app is beautifully made and so user friendly. Iām only sorry that itās no longer updating because we need it now more than ever. Thank you for caring about the people of this country so much to build something we are so woefully ignorant of.
Amazing resource!
I discovered this app while searching for apps to inform me about what's happening in DC. It's straightforward and easy to use. I love being able to see bills by day and also seeing voting records by rep/senator. The app does a phenomenal job reporting out your rep/senator's voting record, sponsored bills and campaign financiers. Sadly, I discovered it after the API had been sunset. I would happily pay to get a real-time version of this app if the developer is able to resurrect it - this is a vital tool for good democracy and for being an informed citizen!!

Really cool idea while it lasted :(
Through no fault of the dev, the core function of the app, tracking bills and resolutions, stopped in 2024 because the data source the app used stopped being maintained. This was a really neat idea that I wish someone would revive. There needs to be an accessible, clean app that lets people easily track whatās happening in our government. Thanks to the dev for making this.

Wow I just found out about this app only to find out that it will be closing down. I hope someone keeps this app active as itās a must have for all the tax payers and anyone interested in knowing what the Government is passing laws on. Why not charge a one time fee as it sure is worth it to keep this app updated. This is a must have app

I gave it only 3 stars because it hasnāt been updated since the last election
It wouldnāt be so bad if it had the option to manually add newly elected representatives. There is just too much going on for this omission to be acceptable. Otherwise, this would be a great app.
Please get the app going again!

Itās a shame itās closing down
Whoever created this app, hats off to you. I think every single American should have this on their device. Robin Williams once said that he wished that they forced members of Congress to wear jackets with their sponsors on them like they do in NASCAR, this was the closest thing to that available. It seems that every watchdog group out here has been shutting down within the last handful of years, and these apps are becoming less and less available. I hope that the developer of this app will make another version once he graduates college, we need this kind of information.

Recommendation
Make a button that allows users to be directed to the contact information / link to website to contact congress person after reviewing a bill.
Not Easy To Negotiate and getting in
When Iām on with my rep., I canāt switch over to another rep. In my state to see how they voted on a bill.
Also, under her photo, I canāt scroll down to see her overall voting record.
Am I doing something wrong, or is the app. screwed up?

Dear Marty Moon, When youāre on your representativeās page, you can press the back button to return to the full list of representatives, then navigate to another representative. You should be able to see her voting history on her page. Please email a screenshot of what the page looks like to support@pocketcongress.org so we can help you. Sincerely, Siddharth
Wonāt stay open
I really like the app, but there are continual problems with getting it open and stay open. It opens but immediately closes. Itās very frustrating. When it works, itās great. I just canāt get it to work consistently.
