Carte très bien faite et détaillée. Les fonctions, l’organisation et la personnalisation sont juste parfaits. Ne manque que la possibilité de lancer des itinéraires hors ligne pour remplacer et dépasser toutes les autres applications.

Would be great if Pocket Earth could be Apple Car Play compatible.
Map sizes dramatically inflate! USA download 2.2 GB grows to over 6.5GB!
If the marketing is saying small map sizes and when reviewing download says 2.2 GB but cannot download till purchased. Download then inflates to over 3X its download size after purchase then that is misleading.
If your download need to decompress 3X state it in on the app and in your marketing.

A great navigation tool.
A seriously good mapping tool. It uses GPS for map information or you can add cellular data to improve accuracy & detail. You can zoom in down to individual properties or out to get the big picture. It shows a circle of accuracy as well as providing altitude & speed information. I’ve used it when flying & skiing. When cellular data is available it downloads & stores maps, There is a free version but for a small one time fee, it adds a lot of extra features. I wouldn’t travel without it!

Great Walking Map and Info
Used all over the world. Shows points of interest with Wiki info, tagged spots for reference, etc. Highly recommend.
Very useful
We have used this App for several years, I love it. On a bicycle camping journey , It’s especially useful to know what facilities are ahead of you - food, shelter, parks for picnic. It’s also very easy to Share screenshots etc. 11/10

Seems to be a great app but…
I like a lot of the features of this app, but one of the real problems for me is that it doesn’t seem to sync like it promises to between Apple devices. When I travel I use both my iPhone and my iPad , and they need to be able to sync with one another. They claim to do this, but when I Google it on the Internet apparently it’s been a problem for several years.

This is an awesome app!! I use it a lot for traveling on motorcycles, off-road! I love the downloadable features for use without service! Only problem is it’s not Apple CarPlay compatible so I’m not able to use it on any larger screen device.

Since discovering pocket earth about 10 years ago while walking from London to Rome l have never found an app as good. Pocket earth is as good in oz where l live, and in Albania where l have walked!l would be totally lost without it!!
GPS doesn’t work
This app would be brilliant if the GPS worked offline… great topographical maps but no navigation. I used it for 3 months trekking in Italy and it was awful. It showed me where I was at the start of the day before I set out, then that was it. So disappointing

I absolutely love this app. My only wish is for apple CarPlay. The offline maps, tracking, elevation, and speed are awesome!! Definitely the best affordable app for off road ridding I’ve found. I’ve been using this app for years now and it’s never let me down.

Map cords too small
Great app. Main issue is that the coordinates at the bottom cannot be made larger. There is a text size setting, that only works for some text on the map. I also need it bigger on the cords please. Thx.

Was mir besonders gut gefällt ist, das es eine Luftlinien Funktion hat und das wirklich fast alle Radwege da sind. Ich bin gerade in Prag unterwegs und mache vom Campingplatz aus Radtouren. Es funktioniert wunderbar. Bin nur abseits der Hauptstraßen unterwegs 👍👍👍
Abandonware
PocketEarth was superb for a long time, and the app is still functional, but OSM updates are now very infrequent, app updates are incredibly rare, and GeoMagik's support forum is totally abandoned to spam. RIP.
Ein paar Features fehlen zur besten GPS Kartenapp
Eigentlich eine wunderbare GPS App. Die Karten sind durch die Integration mit Wikipedia gerade auf Reisen super. Es finden sich sehr viele Details wie Spielplätze, Bars, Hotels Toiletten usw. Aber eine automatische Synchronisation über iCloud Drive ist heutzutage wirklich Standard. Sollte unbedingt eingebaut werden. Bei der Routenplanung sollten die Abmaße und Tonnage des Fahrzeugs einstellbar sein. Dann wäre die Navo funktion auch für Wohnmobil- und Wohnwagen Fahrer nützlich. Trotzdem gute App, leider mit ein paar Schwächen.
