no support whatsoever. whoever started this with good intentions, sold it, and the someone who bought it is absent. steer clear if you respect privacy. comaps, organicmaps, andmaps all use same info but are active and responsive.

Works for me, and I’m a biologist who needs it a lot. Pocket Earth PRO has been there for me countless times. It has become an essential tool in my professional and personal worlds.
Better than Google Maps!
Pocket Earth has way more details than Google Maps and is able to save locations in countries like Thailand, down to the Soi level.

Bad UX for offline maps
It's made useless by automatic updates. If you have that option on, it will try to update your offline maps, but only when you need them.
It should update them when they're due an update. It does not. It updates them when they're overdue an update and you want to use them. And on top of that, it won't let you use offline maps that are overdue an update. It will behave like they don't exist. Terrible UX.

Been using Pocket Earth for many years now and it is still my go to app for maps everywhere I travel. Can’t recommend enough.
Great app for route finding
I have used Pocket Earth Pro for many years and consistently find it useful. We have used it on the Camino Frances, the Via de la Plata in Spain and the Via Francigena in Italy. Downloading the tracks for each has kept us on course when signage was poor and also allowed us to choose alternative paths when needed. The topo add on is great for planning and assessment. This is a great app!

Trying to restore my purchase. It doesn’t work so emailed the developer, but no response. Highly disappointed.

The best. 100% need this if you’re going hiking or camping. It has never failed me. Pro is worth the cost.

While the app is excellent, every time you open it or switch to it, it will ask if you want to paste from the clipboard. This is a bit annoying.

Topo Map on Your Phone!
I love this app and have used it for many years. The maps are accurate and easily downloaded. It’s easy to mark your own custom locations, and it functions even without a phone signal.

Die beste Karten-App für mich
Immer noch die beste Karten-App für mich. Ich nutze sie seit vielen Jahren täglich und bin immer wieder begeistert vom Kartenbild mit den für mich genau passenden Farben. Die Daten von OSM lassen sich individuell gefiltert anzeigen. Sogar ÖPNV Strecken werden angezeigt. Die Routenplanung ist nutze ich besonders fürs Radfahren und Wandern. Einfach toll gemacht und immer wieder Updates der App und der Karten.

Still the best iOS navigation by a country mile and it is a delight to see updates still coming out
The only slight blemish is the third party routing engine. Although there are regular OSM mapping data updates the routing engine can very occasionally struggle with a minor road that it does not recognise for routing purposes
