Hörbücher/ Hörserien
An sich komme ich fast nicht mehr los von diesen tollen Geschichten. Ich liebe sie sehr und habe leider auch schon einiges an Geld ausgegeben, weil ich nicht warten konnte/ wollte. Aber was mich wirklich stört ist dass es am Anfang mit super animierten Videos anfängt, dann kommen nur noch Bilder und dann garnichts mehr. Ich liebe diese Bilder dazu und bin am überlegen die Geschichte abzubrechen, nur weil ich nichts mehr sehe. Man wird damit irgendwie angelockt und dann fallen sie plötzlich weg. Von Video zu Bilder war schon irgendwie ein Rückschlag aber okay. Keine Bilder mehr, ist für mich jetzt irgendwie nicht mehr möglich weiter zu hören. Wenn es von Anfang an ohne Bilder wäre, okay, aber mittendrin keine Bilder mehr ist deprimierend 😣

Money Grabbers
I like have tried 2 stories and I like them both but until now have been frustrated by how quickly the coins I have purchased disappear. Now there is finally a subscription service that gives me a good few hours of listening only to be spoilt by the coins advert after every episode! Why would I wan to buy coins when I’m paying £6.99 for hours. I know you like money ( that’s evident) and I know that you are a business but please think of our enjoyment as well and drop the ads a little!
Addition to my original review. Money grabbers still keep grabbing! I pay £6.99 for 15 hours worth of episodes which has been great. It’s a better way to listen to stories, but now after every episode I get the poxy Autumn sale advert ruining my listening. I understand you want I advertise your sale but keep it out of the subscription. 😡

Love it hate how they strangle episodes
First 100 +\- episodes go fast no interruptions, then the start only giving one episode at a time unless you buy the stupid coins, shame it can’t be a standard 5 a days

Entertaining but AI
The story I’m listening to is engaging, but limited Detailed world building, interesting plot, but makes AI mistakes with continuity and the characters are superficially written. I also get a whiff of Chinese authoritarianism and sexism.
Surveillance Cameras and preparation are good. Difference to males.

Insane Cost $$$!!!
Stories are quite engaging well done there, but if you want to finish a single one, you are spending hundreds of dollars or spending a day for a tiny unlock. This is not fun. Without a better pricing structure - there is no way I can recommend this app.
Decent app until you’re hooked.
It’s a great app with decent stories, until you get hooked on a story and it drops down to 2 free episodes a day, and littered with ads.
Audio problems getting worse
With the two most recent updates, audio problems have been getting worse. First, dialogue had a hollow echo, like it was playing through a stadium audio system. Worse, now some kind of “heroic” music - maybe meant to be played under the ad on the main screen - plays so loudly under the story I’m trying to listen to, that I can’t hear the words! And the music never stops or changes! It is rendering the app almost unusable.

Love the stories but these apps be to expensive

Why do the stories stop showing videos? They start out with very good videos and as soon as we get into the stop line, they stop playing them. I’m ready to delete the entire app because of this. Are they coming back?
Excellent Stories but A Money Grab!
The stories get you hooked. I only listen to the free episodes, 3 per day. I’ve seen comments where people have spent hundreds. It should be a flat rate to listen to one series!!
Weakest Beast Tamer
Awesome book so far, but my free episodes ran out now. I was getting 7 free a day with the option to use adds to see 2 more, so 9 a day. Now I’m down to 1 free and 2 with ads. I bought 200 coins for $3 in beginning because I wanted a good stopping point, but used them and went to repurchase more coins and now they are 12 coins plus 12 free for $1.99. It cost 9 coins an episode and there are over a thousand episodes. Give me the option to just buy the book for $20 I’m not paying over a $100 using these coins. I guess I will have to imagine how the book ends.

Worth checking out, but…!
I enjoy audiobooks. Listen to them all the time. Just started using this app. First thing I’ve noticed is that I am unable to restart my audio using my headphones. I can pause audio. But I have to take out my phone and open the app to start playing again. I’ve tried this with both my AirPod Pro 3, as well as my Sony headphones. Neither work for restarting playback. I am able to restart audio with other apps. Just not this one.
Stories are enjoyable. Though they could use proofreading. For incense, one story talked about a person living in the basement part of the time and part of the time they’re talking about that same person living in an attic.
Narrator casts are “off” with who they assigned to read what. An example might be a 10-year-old child with a deep male voice. Or an alpha male adult being read by a woman judging by the voice. It would have been much better and she read the child’s voice, and he read the man’s voice.
Their ads can be an issue. For instance, as I write this, I’m running the latest version. Some ads will just be silent. They may have something flashing on the screen, or not. Yet, when I think “FM“ I think of radio I often and I’m not watching the screen so I don’t know whether there’s an ad being displayed with no sound, or if an ad is caused the player to freeze yet again. The last few times I’ve noticed it’s right at the two second mark. I have to close out the app entirely and then reopen it in order to be able to get things working again.
Navigation within the app is “OK”. Something’s just aren’t as intuitive as they should be.
Overall, if you’re someone that enjoys audiobooks, this is definitely worth at least checking out.

Cuando tienes una agenda tan agitada entre ser profesionista, esposa, madre y ama de casa estos audiolibros son una excelente experiencia de distracción por que te transportan a escenarios fantásticos.

I’m a frequent Pocket FM listener, but I’m disappointed. I bought 400 coins, and 200 were deducted for a series I wasn’t listening to. I’ve contacted support several times with no response. Paid coins shouldn’t be spent without my approval. I want my 200 coins restored, better control over coin spending, and customer support that actually responds. also mentioned that I was told about this app through a mentor PTSD. in my local VA hospital even though we do get pricey I have enjoyed it.

The Alphas Bride
I have been enjoying this story very much. The one thing I find a bit annoying is the adds i have to watch for extra episodes. It seems there is no “x” on them to move on to the next one. I either have to go into the app a subscribe to it, or just shut the whole thing down and go into other things. Why is that?? I don’t have that much space available to subscribe to a lot of games. And the episodes that show up in the advertising on YouTube I cannot find in your app, why? I’ve looked thru a lot of titles and am unable to find them. Some are about dragons, some are about people with a special animal with special battle power, sorry, cannot give you the title names. Anyway to look into this?? Just curious.

I got hooked by the story line of a series they just started playing when I stumbled onto the app. So I joined. And now the story I was hooked on isn’t auto resumed I have no idea the title or how to find it. The most fundamental on ramping absent entirely.Completely absent. Totally lame

Mm. I am not sure who developed this, but it is a very confusing app. I can't figure out what is unlocked when it says you have 10 episodes unlocked. Every time I try to go back to the one I want, it says I have no coins left. I buy coins and it starts counting with an episode I've already seen. I don't know if it's a glitch on my end or a glitch in the system, but I'm ready to delete this, sadly. I like the story, but I can't figure out how to use the stupid app to hear the story. Is there anywhere I can get assistance

AI Voices
The stories are interesting but can’t handle the AI voices which ruin it. If real people did the voice overs it would be great. They don’t even need to pay professional voice actors, just normal voices would be better than the hollow, synthetic and monotone sound of AI.
Bugs
Whenever you open the app and play your story an ad starts playing after a few words of your story. The issue? When the ad is over the story starts back and it all runs together and you have to start the episode over again because you can’t understand anything as it is all running together like everyone is talking at once. Can you fix this? This is the only way to contact support.
