ESSENTIAL Gettysburg App
This app has been on my phone for years! It helped me obtain my Guiding License and now helps me to enhance my Battlefield Tours. A wealth of knowledge, well organized and easy to use. Ask any guide, most of us keep this on our phone!

Great app for the Gettysburg enthusiast
Interesting and absorbing.....be aware that the app is graphic intensive, so recommend to run on wifi and be patient. Use landscape mode for ipad.
Great product
I stumbled on this looking for a battlefield tour app. I would definitely recommend enabling GPS and then using monuments in "distance" mode. As you approach a monument, it appears on the screen. You have more info than just the plaques. Partway through our tour, we had a downpour and could continue our drive, seeing the monuments while staying in the car. Also, some of the plaques are weathered, and it's easier to read them on the app. If you go, get this app! Now, if someone would just make an audio battlefield tour app?

Great app!
This app is great for people with a passion for Gettysburg.
It is well organized and very informative.
I am presently using it during downtime to look at individual monuments throughout the town. The information, the locations on the map and pictures of then and now are as interesting and helpful as if I were reading a book.
I imagine when I review the battlefield monuments while reading at home or on the battlefield I will find it even more useful.
I would have paid more money if this was a book!

Make sure you are in landscape mode on an iPad. Excellent tool. Can't wait to use it when I'm in Gettysburg.
