Epic Game

Okay so I have knew about this game since it was released and I have been playing on and off for almost 10 years now. This game kept me locked in for hours on end, so many fun quests to do and different areas on the map. I’ve truly enjoyed this game more than any other I have downloaded on my phones and tablets, great job with this one its such a great app

Very good

Very nice

New Pocket God!

Really a top tier game for its time and if they made a newer updated version and kept up with it, kept the “rock paper scissors” type thing at the end of the first one, I’d never put it down

No sound ruins game

This bug that removes all sound and audio from the game really kills it. So disappointing. This game used to be amazing years ago.

WHERE IS THE UPDATE?

GIVE US THE UPDATE!

Nostalgia I like it

lol that one guy saying there’s
No sound bro ur phone on silent. Game has sound and is good

Simply Goated

This app is currently sitting at top 32 of the paid apps category. This app hasn’t had an update in 10 years. That’s how you know this is an oldy but a goody.

Pure Nostalgia

I loved every bit of the game, the mass nostalgia and i wonder if there’s gonna be more

Double Rainbow

I’m not sure who showed me this app when I first downloaded it back in 2012, but omg, seeing a double rainbow while I was at the beach literally made that game pop into my mind and I had to redownload it 😂
the nostalgia, such a funny game

No sound when playing on a tablet

I love this game! It’s great that it’s been updated! Sadly I can’t enjoy it on my tablet like I can on my phone.

Review

This game overall takes on the concept of being your own god and torturing Pygmies (humans). Though the concept can be fun and awesome to break the game, it can get dull pretty fast, and there are no frequent updates. In order to have more better experience, you need to buy the extra packs for more content. 3 stars!

Classic

I remember when the iPhone was new and this game was so iconic. The nostalgia of it is wonderful but it has not aged well. It would be good if they did a newer version

Peek

This game is really fun. It’s been a long drives and when you’re bored.

Downloaded this app in March 2009

Really wish they would resurrect it. Or, even better, give us Pocket God 2. Then again, PG was released when mobile games were at their height. Back when games weren’t made to farm data, be micro-transaction cash cows, or actually an ad player that allows you to pass time between ads by playing a game that looks like some high schooler’s senior project. So, maybe it’s best if PG remains as an awesome memory rather than risk ruining it.

The lack of audio is actually GREAT!

Playing Pocket God a decade or so ago was fun but, I ALWAYS felt like it was missing something. It turns out this new version solved the problem: Eliminate the sound! The music and the sound effects were just a HUGE distraction for me and I want to thank the developers for dropping them. Shigeru Miyamoto would be rolling in his grave but I don’t mean in a bad way, I mean that he would be going “Aha! Wow, this is great! I should have made silent Mario”. (Obviously it would be in Japanese and it would be backwards because he is a ghost.).

A lost relic of when mobile games were great

Pocket god represents what mobile games COULD be. It is an incredible game jam-packed with features and fun. It kept me entertained for HOURS as a kid, and I still find it super fun now. No ads, no in-app purchases, just a one-time payment. I wish it was still being developed, because you really don’t see gems like this on the app store anymore.

Resolution is What Its Always Been

At first the resolution annoyed me on my 16 Pro, but the gameplay and nostalgia is flawless and gave me exactly what I wanted otherwise. DOUBLE RAINBOW ALL THE WAY

It’s like something out of a Museum

A childhood friend and I would play this as 10 yr olds and there is still comments on this video. It’s pretty nuts that this is still tangible let alone people mention it.

Do not buy this game in 2025

This was a great game for the time, but it’s 10 years old now and it shows the resolution is terrible. I bought it for nostalgia trip. It’s honestly hard to look at, would have loved if Bolt creative continued to update. They have a wonderful product here but it’s not a recommended buy in 2025.

I found something weird

So I may sound stupid, I may not know a lot, and I may not know that this has already been covered, and also the fact that this game is dead and nobody checks reviews.. BUT! I found something weird, if you go to make a story, inside the environment section there is a map called fail boat, and it looks weird, it floats on turtle shells. It’s in the middle of nowhere it ain’t on the map. So I’m confused if this is a leaked update or not
