I posted a negative review and it got removed? This game is glitchy and fails constantly. I paid $25CDN and it is not money well spent.

Lost all my progress
So I’m enjoying the game for over a week. Then boom.
I log in it asks me my age and all my progress is gone.
Kind of a shame. I don’t know if anyone else had this issue but I’m bummed.

Fun to play, always updating to keep it interesting.
I have had multiple games that I have won and paid for lives on weekend brawls end and then I get pegged with the loss. Keep improving those bugs please and thanks !

Super fun game, horrible app
This game rocks. It’s so fun and addicting.
The actual quality of the app is abysmal. The game crashes constantly, quests don’t update when you complete the requisite tasks, I even purchased the stupid offer and none of the coins/packs from it came through. I’d love to play this game more but the app makes it impossible to enjoy.

Ranked System
I absolutely love this game, but I think one of the largest issues is the ranked system. I find it way too easy to beat my opponents even up into platinum, which is the highest rank I’ve gotten. I could get a much higher rank, I just don’t have time. I usually beat my opponents 10-0, maybe a few less points on my end. It’s fun for a while but then it gets boring. I think there should be some system that tracks how many points you’re getting per game and adds mmr/ranking points so you can progress quicker if you are in too low of a rank. Otherwise, I am thoroughly enjoying this game!

Great Game/Amazing suppor
I’ve been playing this game for a little bit now and it’s became my favorite mobile game out there. I recently lost my account and contacted support and they were able to get my account back. I was honestly surprised they even got back to me and how quickly they were on top of it. You can tell they really care about there community and they are always putting new events updates and content out and the game has a really unique play style to it but most importantly NOT PAY TO WIN. This game doesn’t feel like after a little your handicapped and you have to spend money you can just play and have fun and it be fair, fun, competitive. Thank you Pocket Hockey Stars Dev and support team for making a great game, being involved in the community, and giving us fun on our downtime. Definitely recommend this game if you like quick competitive matches that are fair and FUNNN!!!!

I’d like to be able to control the goalie and lob the puck. I’d also like to get a free skin for my favorite team—like, you choose the team, then pick your jersey and the jersey of any player on that team. Have a real timer that counts down during overtime, have a shootout after overtime, and be able to have penalties and denied clearances—and finally, have three distinct periods. The game is fun but it crashes and makes you lose cups all the time so that makes it pretty hard to progress and seems like it’s hard to get and money to buy any players or gear without paying actual money. And it seems like it’s just as easy to score with a new team not upgraded as with a team that is upgraded… unless you pay money to really upgrade your team

Horrible game
New player and they keep stacking you against higher ranked guys with fast characters so you can never rank up and have to spend money to compete. Pay to win, dont bother with the game

Can’t even defend my own goal because it won’t allow me to go back where my goalie is and the constant glitching. It’s annoying as hell!! I also don’t appreciate it when it allows me to win instead of me being able to beat my opponent just seems like you can never get just an honest game. That’s always you win they win and it’s usually a commanding side or not a very good game. Like I’ve said before it would just be better if the program would just get the hell out of the road and allow people to play the damn game.

Fun game! But..
It’s a fun game, with cool powers and ways to upgrade the players, shooting feels really good. The names are quirky, checking feels good, and there are ways for skill expression. The star system is cool, rewarding good play, and I like the way fights were incorporated. I’m enjoying the base system that’s here. I do have some issues.
The first one is related to the monetization. The ads are very frequent, and some are quite long. That wouldn’t be a problem on its own, there’s an option to buy the ads away… $25 CAD is way too steep just to stop seeing ads in my opinion. Not to mention that there are free things you can get by watching ads and plenty of micro transactions already, making me pay that much just to stop seeing ads after games feels like overkill.
My next issue is lesser, but I still wanted to bring it up. I used 100 of my coins to play in an event, which is 20 wins for the biggest prize. Most steps (each win) is 100xp (for 100 coins you can get 1500xp in the shop by the way) I won 2 games for 200 xp then get matched with someone who’s players are double the power to mine and I get wiped. You can buy more lives with coins, but the second life instead of 100 coins is now 500 coins. I am not going to fall for the same trick twice for more than double the cost.
The event did not feel fair in the slightest, I used my coins to get 14% of the shop offer- then immediately matched up against a team I had a tiny sliver of a chance to win against on the 3rd step of a 20 win ladder, then to buy back in you need to pay up (seemingly) exponentially. Feels like it links back into monetization which encourages you to pay more.

I’m tempted to pay for the ad-free version but the game is unreliable. It shuts down frequently. Also, the match-ups can be so lopsided.
