Gen ai is bad
I had wrote a long winded review that had accidentally got wiped. It was about how what will you be left with when we collectively realize that the gen ai thing is bad. I’ll try and keep it brief. Stop using ai, what you have is perfect as is. You are going against everything you do as a game studio, video games are art afterall, and you are going to something that will hurt everyone in the end, people have already been hurt, even if it’s small and cannot be seen. Now let me get off my high horse and put things simply~

It’s okay but wouldn’t play again
The game is okay but there’s a lot of grinding for very little reward. (Unless you’re willing to pay actual money.)
Not a fan of the barrel racing event, I feel like it should be a separate mechanic to sprint and turn. Tapping the reins to sprint and then in a split second needing to drag one side of the rein to aim for the target in order to turn is more disruptive and quite frustrating.
Dressage event feels very penalising when you don’t tap the icons perfectly since the flow resets to 0 even if you receive a “great” score.
Aging horses after competing 2 events seems counterintuitive when each age has a different perk but no real benefits. Even if you have enough energy to level up skills via events; your horse will be age 20, seasoned, and not even max skill level.
Breeding foals should allow those genes to automatically be unlocked in the designer menu.
I won’t play again, but it was something to pass the time with.

The game needs some help 😭😥
Can we really not customize our character? Also I hate the energy stuff. And you can't even explore with your horse. Needs improvement for sure.
