What's New in Pocket RAWS
8.1
October 4, 2026
What's New in Pocket RAWS 8.1 A fresh new look for iOS 27 Pocket RAWS has been redesigned around Apple's new Liquid Glass design. The tab bar, toolbars, and buttons now have the new glass look, and the tab bar shrinks out of the way as you scroll so more of your weather data is on screen. Landscape support Pocket RAWS now works in landscape. Turn your phone sideways and the Home screen spreads your weather cards across two columns. The station header and full-screen map adjust to fit around the camera and Dynamic Island in any orientation. Smoother Recon Map The Recon Map on the Home screen no longer flickers or pops in while you scroll. It fades in smoothly and stays loaded. Bolder 6–10 Day Outlooks The NOAA 6–10 day temperature and precipitation outlook layers on the map are darker and easier to read, while still letting the terrain show through underneath. Easier navigation • Fire Weather office rows can be tapped anywhere on the row to open the forecast discussion • Sheets now use standard close buttons, so they work the same way throughout the app • Navigation titles and back buttons behave consistently across every tab Simpler way to reach us Getting in touch is now one tap. Use Send Feedback in Settings or in the Privacy Policy to send questions, bug reports, or ideas straight to us. Under the hood • Improved reliability of subscription renewal reminders • General performance improvements and bug fixes Pocket RAWS 8.1 requires iOS 27 or later.
