I love it.

I am getting interested in RFC documents and I feel like this app is very good at doing what it does. I can’t find any problems with it but I do like how it automatically starts in dark mode. 5/5!!

Seems good but missing some features

I like the dark mode and overall the app seems pretty clean and simple. Couple missing features that I think are pretty crucial:

1. It shows errata/obsoleted by/updated by/etc. info only in the listing page; I can’t find a way to see that info from inside the doc. Looking at an obsolete RFC, there’s no way to know it’s obsolete.

2. The RFC numbers within RFCs aren’t hyperlinked so you can’t easily go to the referenced one when you see a mention of it. This includes RFCs mentioned in headers.

3. When you search for an RFC by number, the sorting isn’t “smart”: it is very likely to show you one or more RFCs that merely *mention* the one you searched for, before you get to the RFC whose number you typed in.

All in all a good effort but the above three will likely make this app unusable for me.

Does what it says on the tin

I don’t think I’ve ever written an app review before

For me, RFCs make for pleasant (read: boring) bedtime reading.

Well, here they all are, free of distraction *and* with a dark mode for my sleepy eyes.

Since RFC’s don’t seem to play well with safari’s reader view, this app more or less fills that gap. (Text resizing wraps a little funky)

Was happy to pay for the ad-free version - thanks! and keep making cool stuff!
