Fantastic Balance
I have been going to Balance Salon for close to 30 years now. Carlos and Tina run a very top-notch salon. I usually stay with one stylist but sometimes they move away to different salons and I prefer to stay with the Aveda Salon vs staying with the stylist. I also love Aveda products. My hair is always healthy and Aveda has products for whatever my hair needs are. Whether it be needing more moisture or my hair is frizzing up, there are products to meet my needs. Kudos to Carlos, Tina and my stylist Christina❣️

Never works
Why do salons still use this
Needs logic update
Unable to sync / upload appointments to calendar. Tells me to allow access on settings but there is NO option to turn calendar access on. Do not want to go into the app to see future appointments at a glance.
Have not been able to book on app in months
I just get an error message when I log in to go book. I haven’t been able to book an appointment on the app in over 2 months now.
Convenient
This has made guest checkout very easy. Can’t wait to implement the scheduling feature.
Doesn’t work
I can’t even create an account to use the app. I tried several times and once I put in my information to create an account, it goes back to my phone’s Home Screen. I see that the same issues happened at least two years ago from other reviews. Pretty disappointed that it isn’t been fixed after all this time.

Refuses to allow account creation!
I would like to try this app.! But, I have tried x 10 just to create an account! No dice it just closes out after all information is entered!
Overall good but missing some features
Wish the stylist could communicate back to me. Cherry Almond doesn’t show up. Can’t buy gift cards.
Crashing
The app crashes non-stop. I can’t even get to my salon’s stuff before it crashes! I restart it...nothing.
Doesn’t work after iOS update
The app worked fine for me before, but I loaded the update to 13.6.1 today and now not only doesn’t it recognize my sign on, but if I try to search for my salon, nothing shows up, either by name or by zip code
Can’t even create an account
I was really excited for this app and then I barely got started before having issues. I was trying to create an account and after filling out all my information and hitting the create account button, it crashed. Tried a few times and happened each time.
Extremely Unintuitive.
Nothing is easily located or works well on this app. If I had choice I wouldn’t use this app
Does not recognize email
I use my email and it never works or recognizes my email. The salon suggested to delete the app and start over....still does not recognize my email. Therefore, it is either the app or the salon?
Frustrating
Have tried FOUR times to set up an account and app keeps quitting!!
Worked once
This is not working! I cannot log in to my account, I can’t create an account because it says it is already in use, I cannot change my password or retrieve a lost password because it says it doesn’t recognize my email. I used this one time in my 3 visits and it worked perfectly one time. Please fix so I can use contactless checkout. Thank you.

Unreliable
I have had nothing but trouble using this app. It often kicks me off, and when I try to log back in, it won’t let me. It is currently telling me it doesn’t recognize my email address but then when I try to create a new account it says my address is already being used. So frustrating.
Terrible app
I am visiting Camden, Maine, and when I put in the zip of a salon I know I is on the app, it doesn’t appear! If I type the name of the salon, it works. That’s a terrible design flaw.
Also, when trying to book, I can’t search by day. I have to click on the service, then each stylist (who are all booked). Such a time waster. This app is awful - just use google search and call the salon to book!

Help with creating account
I downloaded the app but have been unable to create an account. When trying to create an account, the screen will not scroll down further to re-enter a password.
Can’t create account
Tried to create an account several times and the app just force closes when I tap the submit button.
Great, simple checkout process
This app makes the check out process so simple and quick. Guests check out paying for services and product purchases while they are still in the chair. It’s quick and they do it from their phone. I love how they can see their history of previous product purchases and their service history. This app also shows any upcoming appointments.
