What do the options mean when you press the gear icon on the bottom right? because once I press it it says either “upgrade to full” or it just sounds the same please answer thank you <3

The iphone silent setting that turns off your ringer will also disable sound on this app. If your phone is set to silent, turn up all volumes and you should be good to go. Please let me know if that was why the sound was muted.

Good but

This is a very nice app and works like it says, but it does not really for your devices, as spit from your mouth and clog up the speakers resulting in poor audio. It works nice and all but would you have to clean the speakers all the team (yes). But overall a great app and would recommend! (Just make sure you be careful)

It doesn’t work

The interface is not intuitive and it’s very hard to use. On top of that, I seriously have no idea how to make the app actually function as intended.

I’m lost in WalMart

I downloaded this app hoping it would get me out of the Electronic section at WalMart. All it did was make the store manager angry and I almost got kicked out for the 10th time today, also I think my lungs are collapsing as I’m writing this and the WalMart does not have any Dialoge machines. My mom is also a cashier here but I can’t find her so I’m bathing in the display bathroom sets in the IKEA section at WalMart. Also I have AIDS.

Doesn’t work on phones with stereo audio

Sound comes out of both speakers, so you need to cover the earpiece to get a good sound.

If your phone has more than one speaker, you will want to pan the sound to just the right or left speaker only. On iPhone, you can do this in SETTINGS - ACCESSIBILITY. Scroll down to the AUDIO BALANCE slider and set it all the way to R or L, depending on the location of the speaker you wish to use.

Maybe doesn’t work with iPhone XR?

I’m following the tutorial and not speaking, but when I press a note, nothing comes out.

Guys. It works. Use it the way you’re supposed to!

People giving this negative reviews don’t know how a Talkbox works. It’s not a vocoder! Play a note, put the speaker to your mouth, and mouth out words! Do NOT use your voice! Learn what a Talkbox is and how it works before cursing at the developers and giving one star reviews! I for one, being a music producer myself, think this app is fun, and I enjoy it. All you kids need to get your facts straight. Big time!

HOW TO USE

The reviews that complain about the app not working or being boring are stupid. All you have to do is read the instructions.
1. Click a note and hold it down
2. Put your phone speaker up to your mouth
3. Mouth words (Do not use your voice, talk silently!)
That’s all you have to do. It’s a very fun app when you get the hang of it and it’s great for if you have nothing to do :)

It doesn’t let to type it is totally not a talk box either so just don’t spend you time on this it is trash

A lot of people think this app is supposed to be a VOCODER. Please make an effort to understand how a talkbox works before saying that it doesn't. In app you can tap HELP to find out more and see the helpful tutorial video here: https://youtu.be/xw74j9egoEM

it works good

surprisingly it actually works and it works well, i'm no where near good but it's fun just to mess around and stuff. practice makes perfect lol

Only works with headphones in??

I opened the app and none of the sounds worked. I plugged in headphones and they worked but obviously the sound doesn’t come out the speaker with headphones in so it’s useless

Hi PickleGamer- A few things to check and I know this sounds dumb, but is your phone set to silent? Turn the ringer on and restart... I'm not sure why this is even an issue but please comment back if it's as simple as that. Also check the physical mute switch over your volume buttons, if you have one. If no luck, please email me with your phone and iOS version- vbtalkbox@gmail.com and I'll check it out.
