Good app

Great app and trainer just if pocketalgs could add like where if you click somewhere on a alg it would turn yellow then green. Yellow meaning you are working on that alg, and green means you have finished memorizing it and learning it. Pocketalgs if you see this I think this is a great idea so if you can could you add it. I would raelly appreciate it, thanks

Hello, Thank you for the suggestion! You’ll be glad to know that PocketAlgs already has a similar feature. You can tap and hold on any alg to toggle it from the standard (gray) state to green, with green indicating that you’ve learned and memorized the alg. While there isn’t a separate “in-progress” (yellow) state at the moment, we’ll definitely consider it and really appreciate your feedback. Thank you for using PocketAlgs!

Good app. Though it needs more

The app is pretty good. The algorithms are correct for what I’ve seen. I also like how it has a timer feature to practice algorithms. However the amount of algorithms is pretty limited. When it comes to the 3x3 it only has algorithms for the CFOP method, nothing for other methods like the roux method or zz method. And even then it only explains OLL and PLL for CFOP, nothing about the white cross or F2L and when it comes to the cubes it only goes up to 4x4. Nothing past that. Still, it’s a pretty good app if you need help learning or need a refresher.

Algs are not complete

This could be a good app if the developer looked at the app and just went through each step.
The algs shown for 3x3 PLL, for example the Rb, is missing a couple of steps to actually solve the case. Each of the 3 algs for that case have missing steps.
I looked at another PLL and you can only see the first line of the alg, the rest of it is cut off and you can only see the very top of those notations.
If the developer had opened each screen and went through it, they would have instantly seen these issues.
Hopefully the developer fixes this so that it can become a useful app.

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. I'm sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience. I just double-checked the Rb PLL algorithms you mentioned, and they are complete and correct as displayed in the app. Each algorithm was hand-tested during development to ensure accuracy. As for the text being cut off, this may be related to system font scaling or accessibility settings on your device, which can sometimes affect layout. I’ll investigate further to see if there’s a way to improve compatibility for all font settings. If you're open to it, we’d love to understand more about your setup so we can fix any display issues you’re seeing. You can reach us using the contact email listed on the app page. We appreciate the feedback and are always working to improve PocketAlgs.
