Still loving this app, couple minor bugs
These guys did it. This app makes convincing sounding news podcasts with various “correspondents” responsible for different news types. I can tailor how I want and even create custom podcasts which is arguably the most powerful feature. This is my first news listen every day now. One annoying bug is that it sometimes just stops playing between sections and you have to start it again but that’s minor. Incredible app, pocketpod!

This app makes really convincing, multi-just podcasts
Each hosts asks questions, plays off each other and other things you’d expect from a radio show except an AI made it just for you!
I was a little disappointed that playing the episodes needs the app (they can be shared individually) as I was hoping to pony any podcast client to an RSS feed but man, this app works so well I’m overlooking that right now. Well done guys

Great everyday use
I always use pocketpod on my daily walks whenever I find something interesting or a cool article that I want to learn more about. It’s super easy to use and is my go-to source of staying up to date.

I’ve been using this app nearly everyday. The customization is awesome - you create your own podcast from your interests. How can it get any better?! Well, you can also save articles you see on the web to PocketPod and it will incorporate them into your stream the next day. You can find that anywhere else. Excellent app - highly recommended!

We got it working
I like the idea and wanted to try it, but multiple bugs during the onboarding killed it for me. Would not allow me to use my Apple ID to create an account so I had to use Google. Then during the onboarding, got hung up repeatedly when asking and giving access to the app on reminders, notifications, and calendar, consistently got hung up which I could only resolve with va forced shutdown. Then you have to start from the beginning. I am running the latest iOS and running it on a iPhone 13 so I don’t think it’s a specs issue. Disappointed.
Update: changed rating to 4 stars. The developer reached out and genuinely wanted to make it right. After some discussion and insights on what is “under the hood” of the app, we resolved the issues. I’ll support anyone who is willing to fix a problem. Looking forward to using this app.

Best Podcast App
The recommendations I’m getting from this app are great. Getting the news I want in a digestible and engaging way. Awesome

Staying up to date becomes easy and fun
Wow I have explored so many similar tools but none were this amazing. This app gonna be my go to app first thing after opening my phone in the morning. Staying informed never was so easy and fun.
New favorite app for my AI news
As someone who has struggled to keep up with all of the news that I care about especially in the AI space, I found that this app saves me hours every day. I was an early user and it just keeps getting insanely better!
