YouTube Channel Search missing

This is the only feature remaining to make the app perfect. Now it’s extremely tricky to search for a channel in a separate app and then come back just to add it in a group

Just Enough!

I had about 100 saved channels on YouTube and many were getting ignored and other times I wanted to look at history ones and they were so scattered across my list on YouTube. This is perfect! I only needed a simple little bit of help and now with about 20 different categories, on evenings I’d like to look at history channels, it’s at my fingertips. Thank you so much!

Works perfectly

Exactly what I needed. I have too many YouTube subscriptions and YouTube doesn’t allow you to organize them. This does. I installed it on my Mac saved the settings, imported them on my phone and iPad and everything works as one would expect. Great job!

Works very well!

Best way to sync Data is with Google Drive, the YouTube account doesn't seem to work for that.

But you can also export data to a file and load it onto phone like that. Very well made app!

Safari extension?

It would be nice if Pocket Tube would be available as a Safari extension. Could use it with my other YouTube extensions instead of being stuck within the app itself

Response from developer

Why 2? How is it related to the app? Moreover, we have a desktop Safari web extension that is available on our site to download.

Blocked access to YouTube

After putting hundreds of channels into folders, YouTube access was blocked. Reconnection via Google account failed many times. No customer service so no go at all

Works well

I like it. It’s handy.

Thanks! So glad to hear you're like PocketTube.

Fixed!

I can log in now and I see videos from my subscriptions.

Worked for two weeks

It worked fine for the first two weeks. Then all of sudden it started to tell me to log in my YouTube and link the account. My account was already logged in and linked. Couldn’t fix the bug no matter what I try. Had to give it up. But since it’s free after all I’ll give it 2 stars.

Try to use latest version, it should be resolved

Partially featured correctly

Doesn’t seem to work well on iPad. Lack of control when video is launched into full screen automatically, but does not utilize full size of screen or allow exit out of a video, making the user kill the app to just get back to main app screen.

Response from developer

We improved iPad view in the latest version, please try to use it.

The app has stopped working for me.

The app has stopped working, keeps asking me to connect my YouTube account although it’s already connected and I cannot access any of my YouTube channels through this app. It just keeps going round and round in circles asking me to sign in and to connect my YouTube account, please sort this out. before that, the app is great.

Stopped indicating

It was working fine for a couple of weeks, but now it is not indicating with a dot when there is a new video posted in a subscription.

Response from developer

Maybe you disconnected your account? Try to check it on the latest tab.

App appears to be broken

The app won’t show me a list of my subscriptions that I can add to a folder.

Response from developer

You should connect your YouTube account before

Good, but…

I came across this when I realized that you couldn’t organize subscriptions directly on YouTube, so this does help fill that void, but there are a couple minor tweaks that would make it way better. First, when on the iPad (where I watch most of my YouTube) if you click on a video in landscape mode and it starts playing in the app, you have to switch it to portrait mode in order to go back to the last screen. Secondly, it would be nice to be able to sync devices and keep updated on new/old subscriptions. I understand not being able to sync desktop and the mobile app being different interfaces, but after I sorted everything on my iPad I downloaded the app on my iPhone and none of the categories applied. Anyway, it’s a great concept, just could use a little improving, so I hope there’s an update soon!

No iPad extension

But work on laptop Mac

So useful

I find really hard to believe YouTube doesn’t have a way to organize your feed, but there you go, this extension/app does exactly that very well.

Great extension but support seems to be halted at the moment.

..

App is broken in landscape mode on an iPad

The app is not very good on an iPad in landscape. You can’t navigate back from a lot of windows. I’m surprised a Safari extension hasn’t been made for the iPad yet.

We improved iPad view in the latest version, please try to use it.

Love the app

Been using it since it had a hundred downloads on the chrome store, love the work by the developer on all platforms. Use it especially when I’m about to work or gym

This App is Fantastic

The developer must have worked out all the bugs because I just tried it and it works exactly as advertised.
I was finally able to organize my mess of subscriptions.
Thanks to the developer.
