Interesting alternative
My application is under review rn so haven’t joined any of the nights. In theory this is a great idea but really depends on who you get paired with so I hope they’ve got a good algorithm to pair ppl up

I literally ask all my hinge dates to FaceTime me before I meet them. The best way to sus out someone’s vibes. So excited to try this out

Cool idea, will update after first night
Idea is intriguing, excited to try it out. Still on the waitlist. Some of the sizing feels a bit off on iPad but I guess that is to be expected from a mobile dating app.
super cool idea but higher commitment
no more wondering if the guy I'm meeting up with is unhinged (no pun intended). you get to see everyone and talk to them on 3 min calls before you meet up with them which I love and helps me filter through ppl so much more efficiently. feel like I wasted so much time on the other apps. does require a lot of energy tho bc I can't just rot in bed and swipe

you know in 2 minutes of video if you actually vibe with someone. why waste weeks texting just to find out they’re a bot in real life

i don’t have time to talk to 50 people at once. pod gives me a few cool people each week to talk to and I’m done. perfect for a busy schedule

Amazing!
I just beta tested it and this app really differentiates itself. Social apps usually make you feel like a creep or like you are going to meet one. BUT THIS APP IS AMAZING!!! You feel like you are just meeting real people, and it is so easy to make friends!
Refreshing alternative
Very impressed by all of the features offered. I met many cool people, love how this provides an alternative to traditional dating apps. I was skeptical at first, and there are a couple technical issues here and there. But i would still recommend this app if you are tired of endless swiping.
Amazing experience using pod
Meeting new people nowadays feels hard and unnecessarily hard because so much of dating has turned into swiping. I really loved that Pod uses video, since it helps people get to know each other better. A single photo can be influenced by so many variables (based on personal experience) and does not always show who someone really is, but video gives a better sense of personality!

Great Concept and Execution
First downloaded pod after a friend recommended it - he was so right about its convenience. I have never enjoyed doomswiping on traditional dating apps, and was looking for a fresh, genuine, and importantly efficient way to meet real people. A match on pod after just a 3 minute call is genuinely worth 10x that on any other app. I wouldn’t be surprised if this becomes the next big thing.
TLDR; Love the idea, and so far the user experience is seamless - like my friend, I would recommend it!

Love the idea but my application is still pending. Excited to try it out! Hope they add more days bc I work late on weekdays pretty often
