Awful app
This is a terrible system. I can only charge by using noose button.
It doesn’t recognise that we have two electric cars, doesn’t recognise when car has plug attached.
Please let me use old app which had it’s faults but nothing like this “upgrade”😢☹️

There is no way to set the charging to occur at specific times. It’s so much less flexible than the old app. I don’t understand why they’ve changed it - it’s extremely frustrating as I’m instead resorting to manually setting timers and reminders on other apps for me to then manually turn the podpoint on and off. Absurd. I bought the podpoint years ago because the supposed benefit was that software improvements could be continuously pushed to it - I thought that meant the overall experience would get better, not worse.

Useless!
The app isn’t working at all. The charging schedule is a joke! It starts charging at random hours even out of the scheduled charging time!
Downgrade on original app
Very basic app with no ability to control time you want to charge. Old app much more useful

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. My charger worked perfectly well with the old app for years. Not impressed!
Awful App
Less functionality and can’t even amend my charge schedule. Charging has been spinning for hours so I’m unable to charge my car.
Worse app
Really struggling with this app. We have two EVs and it can’t distinguish between the two so never knows charge level required. Automatic time to charge doesn’t work and still have to use old Podpoint app to do any charging other than the cheap rate timed option. I want to be able to plug in, tell it what charge I need and the time I need it - this app fails woefully to achieve this! And don’t get me started on the fiasco of preconditioning which throws the charger into a flat spin of error messages!

Less customisable than the old app
The app has some good features, it tells me how much percentage charge it will add and it automatically charges in my off peak window. What I do not understand is why I cannot override this? If I need to charge to a specific percentage and it’ll take say one hour more than my off peak window I cannot do this automatically without having to manually start charging. Surely this is something you need to look at because the old app allowed this easily.

Abysmal
Total rubbish. They have taken away all control. Do not downgrade to this you will regret it. It is obvious that podpoint are not listening as there have been no changes to try and restore options for users. I now need to spend to buy a different charger just so that I can get my car to work with energy tariff. Bye podpoint I won’t be the last.

Useless
Instant regret. Now I have this app it will not let me set a charge outside of my off peak times, telling me I can only charge +55% this is problematic, I want to wake up to a full charge even if it charges past the octopus off peak time of 5:30. Thought I would try it for the incentive and if I didn’t get on with it would just use the old one…It will not allow this!!! Wish I read the reviews first 😢

Really, really bad
Wow this is astonishingly bad. Woke up to find my cat hasn’t charged because of some changes you made which defaulted my charge amount to +20% rather than what it was previously set at of charge to 80%. The new app is terrible and has no menu to try to work out what’s going on. The new metric of top of your battery by a percentage rather than charge my battery to a percentage is incredibly confusing. And it’s not telling me I don’t have enough time in my off peak window to reach the usual level I charge to. Never had that problem before. It’s genuinely one of the worst apps I’ve used. Car now won’t charge
Have been using the previous pod point app for 4 years with no issues, prompted to change to this app and now it won’t charge my car at home! Not sure why but I can’t revert back to the normal app and can’t remove the car to try and re add - frustrated and help centre no good either!!
New WiFi won’t connect
Had new WiFi and all the guidance suggested access 3 dots / WiFi settings. Not there. Costing me a fortune as can’t set timer

Wish I hadn’t downloaded it. Main app now insists on using this to schedule a charge. You can only set a stop time and a charge %. Why can’t I set a start and stop time!!!
Dreadful
Extremely basic app, doesn’t allow full control of the charger, would have rather stuck to using the old app, cannot set me own schedule so missing out on octopus free energy, Podpoint, please let us revert to the old app, of update this app so it’s ½ useful, 0 stars from me
Don’t install
It works and is very basic in terms of features. You can no longer see your charging stats which I relied on. I will be deleting the app until they include the stats for charging at home.
