Has potential, I guess

I only downloaded for transcripts, as I am hard of hearing, just to find that probably at least half of the podcasts here do NOT have transcripts, and not the one I was looking for in specific. Would be better if they ACTUALLY offered more transcripts, or even auto generated ones.

hard pass

this app is bare bones and doesn’t really offer any innovate features. i was excited for the transcript feature but that’s non existent on most podcasts.

why would you advertise that you have all the transcripts to the podcast if you actually don’t, and only generate them by user request??

Where is the transcript

From my perspective, the uniqueness of this app compared to Apple podcast lies in transcripts provided. However, I didn’t find any transcript for many channels. I hope you could apply machine learning to this as soon as possible as an edge.

Just Apple Podcasts with cut and paste.

There is nothing new or innovative here. There are no controls for automatic downloading or management. If you’re looking for The default podcast client with a new skin, here it is.

App needs work.

This app has no settings at least non show up when using app on my iPhone XS Max . App needs work but could be a solid podcast player. I don’t understand releasing a unfinished app seems better to just do a beta test before any release... especially when your trying to make this a pay app which it’s not worth paying for right now .

great logo / cool name - useless app.

doesn't work most of the time and even when it does it has none of the features of a good podcast app. the unique feature of snippets maybe something for the attention deprived YouTube lovers but as someone who likes podcasts for the long form (i.e. serial etc) seems like the exact opposite of what i want.

This app has potential

After months of waiting this app has finally been released to the public and yes it is having a slow start but that will improve in time. The developers went above and beyond to develop this app and so far I am impressed with the work they’ve put into it. 😃

So very buggy

After the snafu of the release, nothing but issues. Network errors and podcasts failing to transfer in. Loading time incredibly slow. No settings at all. Very disappointing.

Buggy as hell and no functionality

Terrible app. Buggy as hell: podcasts don’t play, the app crashes all the time. There are no playlists, you can’t speed up or slow down the playback, there is no way to save different episodes or podcasts in different categories (I.e. like you can do with PocketCast), average UI (looking almost dated already) and most of the times the artwork of the podcasts doesn’t even load.
I was really excited about this app, majorly disappointed now. Not worth the wait.

Guessing it hasn't been turned on yet?

Discovery page is blank so I can't suscribe to anything.

Update 1- 7/09/19. The update now includes 4 tabs but they are all empty, tried to import my Apple Podcasts but it did not find anything, which is wrong.

Leaving my review @3 stars as support has been quick.

Like everyone else said, discovery page is blank. This app isn’t ready. This took a while to get and this is what is released?

Let down

When I came across this app, I was really excited to preorder it. From the screen shots provided, it looks really well designed.

But now that it’s “out” the discovery page is blank. Not sure what happened, I hope they can fix it because I’d switch to this from the app I use already, based on the screenshots of the design and snippets idea.
