This app no longer functions and the developer seems to have gone out of business.
Big Issue With Fetching New Episodes
I’ve been using this app for a long time now, but as of October 31st of this year, my regular shows are not updating with new episodes. I doubt so many podcasters took vacation at the same time and stopped posting, but I’m wondering why this app won’t show new episodes.

It has hardly any features. Can’t even sort old to new. There are so many good players, no need for this one. I’ve uninstalled it.

Great app
I love that you can control the playback speeds really granularly, especially compared to other apps. Nice interface as well and i like the queue feature
Great recommendations
Great for finding new podcasts. I like following my favorite podcasters, episodes sorted by popularity, and listening at 1.3x speed. But the rewind bug is awful.
Until I can consistently resume playback where I left off, the app is not worth using.

Favorite podcast app
This app is so good compared to the original podcast app and the other paid subscription one I had. It makes it so easy to find the best episodes from every podcast and its also really good at recommending podcast you liked based off the ones you've saved already.
But the only negative is sometimes when I close out the app and open it back up the podcast won’t save were I last left off. Then it won’t let me drag the slider to where I left off also. So the only way I can get back to my spot is to spam the 15 sec forward all the way through 3 hour podcast which is a pain in the butt because usually for me I listen to podcast at work when I’m not suppose to be on my phone so this ends up being a huge inconvenience.

Major potential but needs critical bug fixed
I can’t find anywhere to submit feedback so I’m writing it here.
This is the first podcast app I’ve found that actually ranks podcast episodes, which for me is a killer feature. I love being able to find the “best of” when starting with any new podcast.
But there are major bugs that need fixing:
1. Frequently I open the app and the podcast I was last listening to has rewinded up to 10 minutes. I have to seek forward and try to find my place again. No idea why this happens but it is frequent. Perhaps the listener’s location is just not saved frequently enough.
2. At times the Play button at the bottom of the app doesn’t work. The play button at the top always appears to work
3. Player does not pause when using Siri, so I always have to rewind after that. Other podcast apps pause when using Siri.
Missing features:
4. Search podcast episodes. I’d like to just be able to view a podcast’s episode history and filter it by one or more search terms. This simple feature is available in overcast.
If the developers can follow up on these issues I’d be happy to update to 5 stars. I very rarely leave reviews but the “popularity” sorting of this app is so good I want this app to succeed!

Best app to find new podcasts!
4.5 stars ... I love this app for finding new podcasts! The recommendations aspect is great and I love that I can search for and follow people now! I’ve tried just about all the podcast catchers out there and Owl Tail is the best with discovery by far.
I’m hoping that listening features (most importantly trim silence and custom playlists) will be implemented. Once that happens, this will be a solid 5 stars in my book, and I’ll ditch the podcast player I currently subscribe to specifically for those features!

Love it with a suggestion
I find it valuable but it needs to allow people to rate individual episodes. Most popular is kind of a popularity of guest contest and the top 20 can miss the best episodes. Rating individual episodes could be more valuable
Great app but control buttons stopped working
I really want to use this app, but I have had two issues (1) the control buttons (rewind, fast forward, and pause) stopped working and (2) it doesn’t update with new podcasts as quickly as the apple app.

Please check out the latest version :). We're currently trying to work on (1). A lot of the times this is unfortunately due to the underlying episodes having issues. Only suggestions I could make is a blocking feature for words like Epstein or for shows so the same show I refuse to listen to doesn’t keep coming up. But it’s uhhhhmazing

Great Podcast App
Great app all around. Has room for improvement in terms of bugs as well as UI/UX, but as a new app, I imagine they’ll be consistently improving with each update.
Good Podcast App for Discovery
This is my 4th podcast app I’ve dowloaded in the past 3 weeks. So far, so good. It’s the first app that I’ve ever seen with a decent solution for discovery.
Best App with Strong Discovery Features
After the latest iOS updates, I’ve had nothing but issues with Apple’s podcast app. Tried a few other apps, but they weren’t what I was looking for. This app has strong discovery features that makes finding new content easy. Would recommend to anyone who’s looking for a new way to listen to podcasts.
