App sieht gut aus, aber…
Eine Funktion, die ich als Castro-Wechsler sehr vermisse, ist es Podcast individuell zur Wiedergabeliste hinzu zufügen.
Das UI in den Einstellungen bei „automatische Vorgänge“ -> Wiedergabeliste sieht so aus, als sollte es gehen, ich bekomme es aber nicht eingestellt. Ich habe auch keine Möglichkeit gefunden, irgendwo Support zu bekommen. Für App-Preis UND Subskription sollte irgendwo wenigstens nen bugtracker zu finden sein.

Hallo, es gibt eine Webseite mit Kontakt, es gibt ein Slack und außerdem noch Twitter und Email. Die gesuchte Funktion ist direkt am Podcast zu finden. Die Option in den Einstellungen ist derzeit defekt, Korrektur folgt noch diese Woche zusammen mit einer brandneuen WatchApp. Aber danke für den Tonfall und die 2 Sterne.
Grenzwertig
Die App kostet 5,99 € und beim zweiten Start der App wird dann ein jährliches Abo von 9,99 € gefordert, ohne das die App nicht mehr funktioniert. Das ist aus meiner Sicht mindestens grenzwertig.

Mir war nicht bewusst dass Apple die Preisumstellung nicht ganz vollzogen hat. App sollte nichts kosten außer das Abo. Gib die App einfach zurück und hole sie dir erneut. Habe den Kaufpreis reduziert auf die üblichen 0€

Würdiger Nachfolger für Castro
Über Jahre war Castro die Podcast-App meiner Wahl, nachdem Castro aber eingestellt wird ist Podcat aber ein sehr guter Ersatz. Es verfolgt ähnliche Bedienkonzepte und funktioniert flüssiger und stabiler, insbesondere was CarPlay anbelangt. Ein paar Funktionen vermisse ich aber noch: Trim Silence gibt es noch nicht und bei Castro konnte man die Playlist per Drag and Drop sortieren.

tolle Features - aber Taschenwärmer
Leider wird das Telefon bei Benutzung sehr war und zieht dementsprechend binnen kurzer Zeit den Akku leer. Das ist wahnsinnig schade, denn die App bietet eine sehr gutes Gesamtpaket:
Kapitelmarken werden unterstützt, bzw. automatische Kapitelmarken gesetzt (alle 5 Minuten), frei einstellbare Sleeptimer, Shownotes, Favoritenmarkierung, Abo eines Podcasts lässt sich pausieren, fein justierbare Lautstärke in der App, dunkles Theme und viele weitere kleine Sachen, von denen ich nicht wusste, dass ich sie brauche, die meinen Podcastkonsum aber unterstützen. Bitte weiter so!
