About
Too many podcasts for one queue.
In Podlist, you put each podcast into one or more playlists by topic, such as news, science or long conversations. Depending on your mood you listen to one or another, and each playlist picks up where you left it.
HOW IT WORKS
Subscribe and assign: every podcast belongs to one or more playlists. For each playlist, you choose whether new episodes are added automatically at the top or the bottom.
Inbox: new episodes that aren't added to a playlist automatically wait in the inbox. From there, you send each episode to its podcast's playlists or dismiss it.
Listen: you start a playlist. When you switch to another one, the first remembers where you left off.
PLAYLISTS
Sorting per playlist: by release date, duration, date added, title, grouped by podcast, or by hand
Remove played episodes or keep them, for example in a playlist of episodes to hear again
Automatic downloads per playlist
Everything: one playlist with every episode from your other playlists
Filter the library and the inbox by playlist, hide the playlists you rarely need
QUEUE You can add whole playlists or single episodes to the queue, to play next or last, and drag them into any order. A playlist starts where you last left it.
LISTENING STATS AND HISTORY For each month and year you see your most-played podcasts and playlists, your records and the times of day you listen. The history shows every episode you started, with the parts you heard. Everything is calculated on your iPhone and nothing is sent to the cloud.
ALSO
Chapters from five sources, including Podlove chapters and timestamps in show notes
Speed, intro and outro skipping, per podcast
Sleep timer, lock screen and headphone controls
An overview of all downloads and storage
Notifications per podcast and playlist
Move from another app with OPML import
NO ADS, NO SUBSCRIPTION, NO PURCHASES, NO TRACKING Podlist has no account and no server of its own. Subscriptions, playlists and progress stay on your iPhone.
Podlist is a private project. It exists because no podcast app fit more than 150 subscriptions listened to by topic and mood. It's free and will stay free.

• A new queue: when you start a playlist, its episodes go into the queue. There you can move them like single episodes. • Player: progress bar split into chapters, show notes right below, Next Episode marks the episode as played, with undo. • Library as large tiles, small tiles or a list. • Episode details: To Playlists, Play Next, Play Last, each with undo. • ARD Sounds (German public radio): find, subscribe to and play shows that have no RSS feed. • Fixed: lost listening positions and imprecise seeking.
