Wildly inaccurate, among other issues.
Wrapped entirely in ***.
In the whispered dusk, where shadows play,
a dew-kissed petal drifts,
light and liquid like the murmur of a distant stream.
I had also read their privacy policy and it seemed ok- it only has “usage data” listed as being shared. But I should have watched their video, which clearly shows it will beg you to watch an ad to get the app to do what is supposed to do, I just waited the 120 seconds for it to generate my “poem” . Fair enough if watching their video it clearly shows this- although not stated in the App Store description. That said, I expected the app to actually work, which it did not even come close to doing.
Response from developer
Thank you for giving PoemCam a try and for sharing your experience. I’m sorry that the poem didn’t reflect the scene you photographed — we’re actively working on making the outputs more aligned with what’s in the photo while still keeping the poetic feel. Using the app is always free, and watching an ad is only an optional way to speed things up. Your comment helps us better understand how we can communicate this more clearly. Your feedback is very helpful as we continue improving PoemCam. I hope you might consider trying it again after the upcoming updates — we’re committed to making the experience better.
