Point4 turns your iPhone into a real DSLR. By treating shooting and developing as separate steps, it reproduces the look of a DSLR at a quality no phone app has reached. Shooting Shoot as many frames as you like, offline. Shooting is always free. Pick the frames you want developed and get the finished photos back in a few minutes. Depth of field Point4 reproduces the depth of field of a full-frame f/1.4 prime lens. It is not a cutout or a composite: the optics of a real lens are computed by physical simulation, so the fall-off in front of and behind focus behaves like the real thing. Aperture Pick the best aperture after the shot. From f/1.4 to f/5.6, changeable any time, even after developing. Developing Pro-level developing is done in a few minutes. The finished photo lands in your photo library, and fine adjustments stay yours. Developing changes color and texture only; the light you shot is left as it was. Film The color and texture of real film, in nine profiles tuned until nothing looks processed. Each is named for a film-factory town. Private Only the frames you develop leave the device. They are kept for up to a year to operate and improve the develop service, then deleted. Everything else stays with you. Film rolls Developing takes film: a roll is 24 develops. Monthly subscriptions deliver 1, 3, 8, or 20 rolls a month; one-time top-up rolls never expire. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
