About

Poirrot is a straightforward tool to aid people with OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), or anyone else who needs to convince themselves that they locked their front door. You can use it by yourself, or you can create a shared bucket with your trusted people, and then either you or they can take photos when they're checking something that the others can see. These photos live in the app and are deleted automatically after a period of time, saving you from filling up your phone with photos of handles. All data is stored using your iCloud accounts and you can configure the expiration timer for each shared bucket. The person creating a check session can take photos that the others see, and the viewers can request retakes if they're not satisfied with specific photos. Viewers are notified when a new check session starts. It's simple to get going and this app is family-sharing enabled, so you only need one purchase for your whole family in iCloud.

What's New in Poirrot

1.0.2

October 26, 2026

• Fixed an issue where the first photo taken in a session could occasionally disappear before saving. • Removed capture rate limits and photo count caps so you can take unlimited photos without delay while they upload in the background. • Tap-to-focus indicator now stays visible while locked; tap the yellow square again anytime to return to continuous auto focus and exposure. • Flash and Night Mode settings now stay active across photos instead of resetting after each shot. • Improved background iCloud sync so feed photos and thumbnails appear promptly once uploaded. • Reliability and cleanup enhancements when managing, leaving, or joining shared buckets.
