Easy to use and customize
I like being able to organize by friend, custom tags and see them on a map. While the OCR needs correction sometimes it works extremely well most of the time.
If you ever add a feature capturing sticker info would be awesome!
Worth it!
The downside: it works easily for new postcards, but you have to manually import old postcards’ screenshots if you’ve already saved them in your Pokémon Go scrapbook. My only other complaint is that it doesn’t show stickers in the list view. (You can click into them to see the stickers.)
That said, it’s still very worth it for me and I’m glad to have it! I tell everyone about it.
already added cards
Useless for postcards you have already collected
Love it, but needs a big feature
Sorting functions need improvement
Also, please enable sorting for all sub-levels to make it easier to find of duplicate cards.
Poor instructions
1 Open your card. Take a screenshot. No need to save card to your poke collection.
2 Open the Poke Album app. It will scan your screenshot and auto add the new postcard.
3 delete the screenshot
For postcards already saved to your Poke postcard book,
1 tap on postcard. Take a screenshot
2 Open Poke Album app. Tap the plus + button. Select the screenshot. App may say it can’t read image. Click Try anyway. App will scan screenshots.
Great app. Couple of improvements would make it even better
Still is worth using to save postcards and is the best app for this.
Minor improvements should include:
Alphabetical list of friends - should not have lower case and capital letters as separate. A and a should go together.
Try to remove reading sticker text on scan.
When scanning collected postcards (not gifts) sometimes it misses the last letter. Needs scan field enlarged?
Sometimes, when scanning collected postcards (not gifts) if you scan the card twice it will add both if the dates and time scanned are different.
Again with scanning collected postcards scan does not read location latitude and longitude.
*** Still this app is a must for Pokémon go postcard collectors.
Needs improvement
Essential for postcard collectors
Great app, just a couple understandable kinks
Saved postcards
Us states separated
Love this app
Great concept, still many bugs
Used to work fine, now broken. (FIXED)

This issue has been fixed and having given the app several loads has not been found again. True to my word the review is 5 stars as the app deserves. Super convenient and a great product.
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. Please update the app to the latest version and try scanning your album again. The app now skips photos that caused crash during previous scans.
Save your money
Super Fun, One Bug, Some Missing Features
Things I hope they add in the future:
- I wish there was a way to scan screenshots of postcards that were pinned in the Pokémon Go app. I’d really love to import all of the cool postcards I received before hearing about this app on Reddit.
- I also wish there was a way to sort postcards sent by a single trainer. I have a lot of accidental duplicate postcards (sent on different days) that I don’t want. If I could sort the postcards alphabetically I’d be able to properly clean up my albums.
Otherwise great! If you’re reading this review get the app, but be warned it’s addictive. ;)
You need to manually check the location.
I usually then try my best to find the correct location coordinates so my gift map will be more accurate.
However, there are many postcards where I am unable to pinpoint their correct location. There is a small bug where clearing the location to empty and saving will not actually save the new empty location. I had to input a period in order for the app to recognize that I wanted a null location.
Postcards screenshotted from the in-game Postcard Book are NOT currently recognized. Trying to scan them in anyway will cause the postcard image to rotate 90 degrees.
It would be helpful if there was some way to note what sticker each entry had. I collect sticker variations of the postcard locations as well. At the moment, I’m currently using a tag for the stickers, but it would be really great if there was a better way to implement this information. (Perhaps have a way to allow users to make their own collections?)
There is a sort option in the Album and Friends tab, but there is no sort option after clicking on one of your friends in the friend tab. What if I want to see all of Friend A’s postcards chronologically? Or Alphabetically?
Improvement suggestions aside, I’m really enjoying the app! My previous postcard collection method didn’t include a map, so it’s really nice to see all my collected postcards pinpointed on the map. The map alone makes the Pro version worth it!
Response from developer
