Easy to use and customize
I really appreciate this app as I was spending a lot of money on Scrapbook pages, which have a limit even if you are willing to buy them. I now have 3800 postcards in this app and counting.
I like being able to organize by friend, custom tags and see them on a map. While the OCR needs correction sometimes it works extremely well most of the time.
If you ever add a feature capturing sticker info would be awesome!

Worth it!
I enjoy collecting postcards and long ago maxed out my in-game storage. I really like the organization this app can do, especially the custom categories so you can sort by themes.
The downside: it works easily for new postcards, but you have to manually import old postcards’ screenshots if you’ve already saved them in your Pokémon Go scrapbook. My only other complaint is that it doesn’t show stickers in the list view. (You can click into them to see the stickers.)
That said, it’s still very worth it for me and I’m glad to have it! I tell everyone about it.

already added cards
please make it to where you can use already pinned postcards
Useless for postcards you have already collected
I got this app so I could sort and enjoy my postcards. I have nearly 600 postcards already in my scrapbook album in the game (so they’re from gifts that I have previously opened). This app has no way to add the previously collected postcards except for a very tedious manual process that I would have to do individually for *all 600 cards*. Since I’ve been collecting a specific theme of cards from around the world since the game started in 2016, an app to organize them is absolutely useless to me if I can’t incorporate the collection I already have. Very VERY disappointed

Love it, but needs a big feature
I absolutely loved this app and recommended it to everyone before in-game postcard collection was a thing. I would still recommend it, with one big caution: like everyone is saying, I would LOVE to be able for it to scan already-pinned postcards. Please. :D
Sorting functions need improvement
Pls change the sorting function so that capitalized letters are sorted the same as non-capitalized letters. Right now, the apps sort sorts A to Z then “a” to ‘z”.
Also, please enable sorting for all sub-levels to make it easier to find of duplicate cards.

Poor instructions
For new postcards:
1 Open your card. Take a screenshot. No need to save card to your poke collection.
2 Open the Poke Album app. It will scan your screenshot and auto add the new postcard.
3 delete the screenshot
For postcards already saved to your Poke postcard book,
1 tap on postcard. Take a screenshot
2 Open Poke Album app. Tap the plus + button. Select the screenshot. App may say it can’t read image. Click Try anyway. App will scan screenshots.

Great app. Couple of improvements would make it even better
As mentioned in the previous review scanning of postcards already in collection is a must.
Still is worth using to save postcards and is the best app for this.
Minor improvements should include:
Alphabetical list of friends - should not have lower case and capital letters as separate. A and a should go together.
Try to remove reading sticker text on scan.
When scanning collected postcards (not gifts) sometimes it misses the last letter. Needs scan field enlarged?
Sometimes, when scanning collected postcards (not gifts) if you scan the card twice it will add both if the dates and time scanned are different.
Again with scanning collected postcards scan does not read location latitude and longitude.
*** Still this app is a must for Pokémon go postcard collectors.

Needs improvement
The app needs improvement with OCR. Also it crashes every time I try to back it up, whether to cloud or local. Great concept, needs some improvements.
Essential for postcard collectors
I used this app before the postcard book was added to Pokémon Go. I love it because it makes it easy to organize postcards and their locations, much more than the in-game postcard book. This app should really have more reviews! I think it’s a great tool.
Great app, just a couple understandable kinks
I downloaded this because I maxed out my postcard storage but didn't want to delete my old cards to pin new ones. It works great for unopened gift postcards, granted the OCR tech needs a little correction now and then, but I would really like it to have a more streamlined process to scan cards that I already opened and pinned. Currently I'm working on screenshotting and manually importing my pinned cards, and since it doesn't automatically recognize them as gift postcards I have to override it and force it to scan anyway and fill in the date and friend name data myself, which takes a lot of work but I can rest easy knowing my collection is getting backed up. I know its hard work to develop another scanning algorithm for a different layout, but this would be an awesome quality of life addition! I also found the Getting Started and FAQ pages lacking, like I still don't really understand why some of my cards have a little blue dot or why some of their titles are green and some are yellow. A tutorial walkthrough of all the features would be helpful. Awesome app, have already recommended it to my PoGo friends :)

Saved postcards
The app seems great so far! But it'd be cool if it could also scan information from screenshots of postcards that I already have saved to my in-game album. Please let me know if the app is ever updated to support this!
Us states separated
This is great! But can we please get the US states separated too into a list not just countries.
Love this app
I’ve been using this app for a couple years and love it. I wish I could have it set to auto delete screenshots on import and that the import of new stickers wasn’t so problematic but it’s still an app I wouldn’t want to be without. Thank you!
Great concept, still many bugs
I rarely buy apps, but I figured this would save me time from cataloging my pokestop pics on my own. Unfortunately it doesn’t recognize all screenshots, meaning you have to manually do them. Which isn’t the worst besides the fact that it’s a paid feature. What’s the most annoying is the amount of times the app just shuts down when you try to manually enter a screenshot.

Used to work fine, now broken. (FIXED)
Used to be amazing, now it can’t finish scanning screenshots without the app crashing and not completing the scan. Nothing fixes, not even deleting and re-installing. Hopefully next update will fix and I can change review. Otherwise great product.

This issue has been fixed and having given the app several loads has not been found again. True to my word the review is 5 stars as the app deserves. Super convenient and a great product.

Save your money
This app boots me out every time I try to manually put in a postcard. I tried to reach support with no help.
Super Fun, One Bug, Some Missing Features
I really love this app and I have soooo much fun with it!! There’s one bug that is super frustrating, which is that the name of the postcard will often have random letters or symbols in front of it when the postcard is added. I think this is specifically an issue with postcards that have stickers.
Things I hope they add in the future:
- I wish there was a way to scan screenshots of postcards that were pinned in the Pokémon Go app. I’d really love to import all of the cool postcards I received before hearing about this app on Reddit.
- I also wish there was a way to sort postcards sent by a single trainer. I have a lot of accidental duplicate postcards (sent on different days) that I don’t want. If I could sort the postcards alphabetically I’d be able to properly clean up my albums.
Otherwise great! If you’re reading this review get the app, but be warned it’s addictive. ;)

You need to manually check the location.
If you input the coordinates that most postcards are automatically assigned into Google Earth, you will find that many of the locations are incorrect.
I usually then try my best to find the correct location coordinates so my gift map will be more accurate.
However, there are many postcards where I am unable to pinpoint their correct location. There is a small bug where clearing the location to empty and saving will not actually save the new empty location. I had to input a period in order for the app to recognize that I wanted a null location.
Postcards screenshotted from the in-game Postcard Book are NOT currently recognized. Trying to scan them in anyway will cause the postcard image to rotate 90 degrees.
It would be helpful if there was some way to note what sticker each entry had. I collect sticker variations of the postcard locations as well. At the moment, I’m currently using a tag for the stickers, but it would be really great if there was a better way to implement this information. (Perhaps have a way to allow users to make their own collections?)
There is a sort option in the Album and Friends tab, but there is no sort option after clicking on one of your friends in the friend tab. What if I want to see all of Friend A’s postcards chronologically? Or Alphabetically?
Improvement suggestions aside, I’m really enjoying the app! My previous postcard collection method didn’t include a map, so it’s really nice to see all my collected postcards pinpointed on the map. The map alone makes the Pro version worth it!

Doesn’t work on cards saved in the in-app album
Seems like a great app to have if it worked on the cards you’ve saved to your in app album. I hope this is fixed.
