It’s really fun but I hate how you have to literally buy the poke balls and wait a day just for like two of them. It defeats the purpose of the game.

It would be 5 stars cause i love this game but i think it’s stupid you can’t accumulate more than 50 coins a day. if i have 6 pokémon in gyms i kind of expect more than JUST 50 coins
There is something truly wrong with these people
Besides how terribly buggy the game is under Scopely, the ratio of monetisation to game is so wildly off balance now, it’s grotesque. Niantic were bad, and although it’s mostly the same people, the attitude change is horrendous. So many changes for the worse, it’s unreal.

Game needs an update for disabled players that can’t travel to shops and you won’t get good ones to spawn near you it seems

Getting shinys is easy same with one star dynamax and normal raids

New Pokemon in 5km eggs? They’ll boost the rate of 10km eggs so you can’t get the new Pokemon and try to force you into buying incubators! The gender ratio is also supposed to be 50:50 but I’ve gotten 10 females in a row… another bug from scamly. This company needs to sell this game to someone who actually cares about the players!

i love this game
i get into it every couple of months, even if i’m not walking around i’ve always lived near a pokestop so i’ve been able to catch pokemon and just spin it, just play the game without actually walking. I’m kind of agoraphobic so i was nervous to use it to walk around. but after i finally moved to a medium sized town with sidewalks i go out all the time! it’s so fun walking around town i keep going without even thinking about how far i’m getting. it’s sincerely a great game that has very much helped me go outside again, i’m grateful it exists. it’s fun!

Glitchy game with TERRIBLE customer support
This game freezes/crashes/somehow fails all the time. Literally have an issue every time I open it. There are so many glitches, many that will cost you rewards you’ve earned. Then when you try to get help from customer support they will call you a liar and then ignore you. I’ve been playing this game for years but I can’t put up with how terrible it is any more. Cannot recommend this game at all in 2026. There’s no effort to fix the game and they actively hate the customer base.

Dead game and bad company
The hype around the game is gone and the game feels so dead especially if your not in a major city like sydney. Had heaps of fun while the game had all the hype but now there’s no point in playing it.
The worst part is to find out that the company behind it was collecting data from its users for their own gain is disappointing.

Character models look off and sloppy.
I don’t know why its difficult to separate the male from the female characters. My male character looks like he has breast like a woman.. please fix this its my only gripe
Catch rates
Garbage catch rates on the daily incense birds. I had a shiny one appear and it took over 100 ultra balls to catch. Unacceptable
They only cares about money
I’ve spent thousand of dollars on this game over the last decade and for them to just ignore a major issue that I had “thats there fault btw” it really hurts to see a company abandon there reputation just to make a few dollars
What happened?
I play pokemon go daily, and something feels really off lately . For instance I caught 450 pokemon in 2 days and zero shinies but to top it off .. where are the new stickers? One of my favourite things about the game is stickers and sending postcards. :( bring them back please.
Expensive to raid remotely. Make trading pokemon easier.
Pay to win scheme. Should make battles more interesting instead of tapping the screen 500 times per battle. Also, trading pokemon is nearly impossible unless you have friends who play the game.
