Half the time the game bricks and just freezes. Don’t get me wrong I love the Tcg but it is annoying when you’re winning a game and your game just stops working bc you went for an attack. I would rather just to play IRL.

Remove the win animations
The animations that play when you win or lose a battle are so annoying and obnoxious. We should be able to disable them. Are you trying to teach kids to be bad winners or something? It’s like watching Argentina at the World Cup

Should have started a long time ago.
I recently started playing I’m older now but being shy all my life stopped me from actually playing I went to my first in person local tournament recently also, TCG live has help me practice and understand the game more. Thanks to Pokemon and the community I’ve been able to get out of my shell.

Buggy Glitchy Mess
It works just worse than TCGO did. And they promised to have the full expanded card pool when the game launched almost 4 years ago. Edit: they just ruined the best board TCG live has had and is literally making people sick.
Absolutely rigged after master-ball ranked
Game is fun until you break into the higher ranks. It’s not so much the difficulty of players you go up against but the atrocities of hands and rerolled hands they give you. For hours straight, day after day, I’ve been playing worst hand simulator. Honestly want to uninstall after my experience this last week

Perfect for practice
This game is just amazing if you want to get into the TCG even with the crazinesss of scalpers and adding build and battle was great and helped me quite a bit with my first pre release event
I do have one complaint but it’s more with the TCG as a whole and not game it’s that there isn’t much diversity when it comes to battle it feels like every time there’s usually only like 2-3 major decks everyone uses and I would like it to be more like manic where there more of a variety between the different things

See pokemon cards are expensive so if you wanna try a deck use this

I love this game and play it about 2hr a day the deck building is fun and you can play with your friends but there is one bug that keeps happening to me were I keep getting logged out of my account

Potential “update 2”
The new update 10th September 2026 is so good especially on the iPad Pro. The arena fits perfectly in the screen and it has many quality of life improvements, I’m hoping that as I play even more will become obvious. Brilliant work 🤩!
This has got so much better recently, the developers seem to have listened and things are not so buggy anymore my only gripes are:
please allow the player to play the card art of their choice from the hand. Only being able to afford to buy one cool art of a card you have four of but then always having it at the back of the stacked cards in hand. This could also possibly be easier having a landscape view on IPads???
Otherwise keep up the current standard and you’ll deserve more 5⭐️
