Poker Payday is a skill-based card game that combines elements of Solitaire and poker. Players create the best 5-card poker hands from an 8-card deal to score points and compete for real cash prizes. It features unique mechanics like the Joker and Mega Hand to enhance strategy and scoring.
Points are earned by creating poker hands using the value of the cards played. Face cards have specific point values (Ace=14, King=13, Queen=12, Jack=11), and number cards are worth their face value. The Joker takes on the value of the card it replaces. Bonus points are awarded based on time remaining after all hands are played.
Yes, Poker Payday offers opportunities to win real cash and prizes by competing in head-to-head games and online tournaments. Winnings can be withdrawn at any time via PayPal. However, cash tournaments are not available in all regions, including AR, CT, DE, LA, ME, SD, and TN.
The Joker is a special card that can take on the value of any card it replaces in a poker hand, adding a strategic layer. The Mega Hand is a special hand that can be used once per game, allowing hands played within it to earn double points. The Joker cannot be used in the Mega Hand.
The provided description does not specify compatibility with particular operating systems or devices. However, it is presented as a mobile application, suggesting it is designed for smartphones and tablets. Users can play for free, and cash tournaments are available in most of the world, excluding certain US states.
