Fun for the whole family
While in Wi on vacation I was looking for a new poker game. I came across Bob. What a great game to play while in the car. Showed it to my 16 year old son and now he is trying to beat Bob to get to the next level. Then my 13 yr old daughter asked what we were so interested in. Now she’s beating Bob with A’s and 8’s.

Fun game
Good game for when there’s no WiFi. It’s funny but Bob tends to play well the first betting round but his game falls apart the second. He notes you draw only 2 cards, but still calls a max bet for example. He gets really aggressive if you check a few hands, but he can’t close the deal
Side Note: if you like Jazz, turn music volume up and background noise down. Bob has great background Jazz with groups such as ‘4 Bars’ and Charlie’s Bistro Ensemble.

Not worth your time or money
I have never had sound since the day that I got this game. I have tried deleting and installing the game several times AND for the very last time. Not worth getting!! The way Bob plays and the hands dealt can make it even more frustrating. It gives you mostly crap hands while Bob steals all the pots.

Great but no challenge
Agree totally with Sammyzmom. If you guys would build a second version where Bob does not draw to inside straights or continue to bid with "nothing but a high card," I would buy the second version.
Still, this card game beats any other game around. It's just too easy. I've played it for three years and lost once, and just like Sammyzmom says, I ain't no great shakes at poker.

Not working as well with iOS 11
Since BOB was updated for 11 the picture on iPad is not as clear. On phone and iPod it is worse as the cards are also now smaller and numbers harder to read, which results in quite a few errors. Not as much fun to play when struggling to read cards. Don’t see option to contact developer so bringing up issue in this review. Please try and fix. Several people who have the app have also mentioned this problem to me.

What a hoot!
Playing poker with Bob is too much fun! Scary Robot Productions, the developer, has created the consummate sleazy poker opponent with Bob’s voice, body language, and facial expressions. Much more fun than simple video draw poker. The interface is easy to use on both the iPhone and iPad. Glad to see Bob back for iOS 11.

Essential App
Poker with Bob has helped me pass the time through car repairs, waiting rooms and holiday grocery lines. When I run out of storage on my phone, Bob is never on the chopping block. It's not a game I play every week, but it's solid entertainment to help pass the time.
playing cards display
I don't care for the latest version of the playing cards display; I find the cards are too hard to read than the previous release due to my visual impairment. otherwise, I love it.
Size
Been playing for a couple years. Ios 11 is less fun than ios 10. For one thing the size of the cards makes it difficult to read them for us older players. I suggest an option to go back to the larger cards in a straight line rather than the splayed cards like you are holding the hand like ios 10 had.

Has personality and enjoyable gameplay. Amazingly it is one of the only poker games I have played that does not seem stacked in favour of one side over he other.

To pratictable
When ever bob gets good cars he keeps on beating $100 dollars. When ever you get good cards and even if you bet $5 to make it seem like you have bad cards he calls it super early or folds early and also after you call it and he "checks" every single time he will call it straight after. So if bob beats $100 just fold.

Like It But Seriously Flawed
I play it a lot, but it has no real relationship to an actual poker game. Example: I just played a hand where Bob had four of a kind (four aces). In the very next hand dealt, I had an ace! So although it's fun to play, it doesn't really follow the rules of a real poker game.

Not a big fan of poker but this is a very enjoyable game. I only wish it was compatible with the larger screen on the iPhone 5.

He needs to have a ever changing comments that are unpredictable and not repeated so often.
This is a great app, but it could be magnificent with constant updates. If you, the writer of the app read this, please consider updating Bob on a regular basis and I think you would sell millions more.
Bob's becoming predictable. Every time we have a high two pair, Bob has three of a kind. This should not be so obvious.
And we are never dealt three of a kind which of course occurs in reality.
Bob should emulate reality more closely.
Having said that, thank you for the best iPad app in the world. Now please improve it regularly and you will conquer the galaxy.

Great game needs update
It's a great game it just needs a update like u can go all in whenever u want and have all poker game like Texas Holdem no limit Holdem please make that update I would pay 10 dollars for the gam
It's good
Good game, but it's maddening that its too easy to accidentally hit the FOLD button when trying to make a $100 bet. They should move the FOLD button to the other side if the screen above the ALL IN button to prevent accidental folding.
What others have said
This could be a fun diversion but like others have said it feels like Bob knows what your holding which kinda ruins the fun. If you bet low and grind out your money you may fair better but don't try to bet high on good hands or you will be disappointed.
