Scam app

Ok. So probably the most enjoyable poker app to play, it’s quick and efficient. But the amount of times it cuts out even with 4 bars of 5G is ridiculous, you lose chips that you may paid for and don’t get refunded. And then all the idiots that come along and go all in every hand, you wait for, say Ace Ace and call and lose to the all in idiot with, say 7, 2.
Makes me believe Ther is bots and algorithms working against you to encourage more purchases

Joke

One simple fact of this app, if you don’t pay for fake chips it will not allow you to win, period. You can get a few wins but they will immediately correct that with unrealistic hands that miraculously you lose every hand that statistically are not possible. If you enjoy playing poker this not the app for you. If you simply want to lose in impossible ways then this is the game for you. However I guess there are people that don’t know how far from reality this game is and they just don’t care. In that case play on in the land of imagination.
Update. Thank you for your response which in no way applies to the review I wrote. I really don’t see how that statement could even be considered by the author. I don’t think anyone has ever thought of shuffling the cards during the hand. But thanks for letting us know that you guys don’t do that.

I can’t get in the app

I love the game and have been playing it for a while. However, quite often i have had hard tome to launch the app. I can hear the music but I can’t get into the app to play the game. I did all the updates, cleared the cashes, restart the phone, bir I could not manage to start the app. Can you help me please?

Good until recent login issue. Hopefully new update will fix.

Been playing PokerStars Play for a few years now. I have worked my way up to a master level 3 rank.
Since the last update the app kept failing to launch.
I have deleted and reinstalled the app, and the app now launches but no longer has an option for Facebook login. Since I can't login through Facebook I have now lost all my progress and if login is restored I might be demoted back to novice levels.
Hopefully a new update will come out soon with a fix for this issue.

Unfixed problems

Countless times I have informed Pokerstars about a problem signing in via Facebook with no resolution in sight. Unable to sign in via any other means so cannot play TExas hold ‘em all at all.

They say they have no bots, how can player that is lvl 100 have never played a hand or won any hand, but still have millions of chips ???This game takes a lot of wins to get to lvl 100…., don’t tell me the players status updates every so many hours….i have seen players that have started 6 months ago. They never played a hand or won , but still have a huge bank???.who would pay for micro transactions and never play the game??? Only bots that’s who

Hello, if you have logged into your Facebook account to play on our app, then your image at the tables will be the same as the one in your Facebook profile. You can change your image within the game anytime by selecting one of the many different images available in the Avatar Shop. Simply go to your profile, click 'Avatar Shop' and choose the avatar that you prefer. Should you wish to change it back again, then you can find your Facebook profile image in the Avatar Shop under the category 'Purchased'.

It’s Fake

I just played to tournaments with the hands dealt being identical to two tournaments I ha previously played. I believe they were even the same two players. I guess it is kinda fun to see if you can out bet the system, I am just disappointed it is not random.

Within a 24 hr period I played cards that were identical. I beat on a pair of Aces and was beat by two pair, Aces and Sevens. The entire tournament was familiar to me. The Aces vs Aces-Sevens loss was significant because the opponent had beat aggressively on previous hands disguising his stronger position. My thoughts on how the beating had transpired was identical, which triggered the memory. The very next tournament was also familiar. I have an excellent memory and I’m confident this isn’t random dealing. I decided after thinking through how I wanted to spend my time to delete the app.

Fun to play but can’t give feedback

The interface is easy enough to use & it’s fun to play but I can’t report / give feedback. There was literally someone swearing and using ableist & racist slurs and there is no option to report the user. Eventually left the table. A feedback function for reporting that stuff would be great

Finally! No monotonous music at the table! Among the poker apps this has become my go-to. WSOP has a shot clock that’s way too short. I like the pace here at PokerStars. Update - please come up with something more entertaining than “you guys have fun” & “can’t call that much”. They’re lame sayings. How about, “cold deck” or “dealer hates me”, etc… c’mon it’s not that tough to come up with something better than something no one would ever say. Also, if someone folds by timing out make them sit out a hand. Also, showing the hole cards needs to pause longer at the end of each game. It goes on to deal the next game so quick you can’t make sense of it all sometimes and it’s really annoying when it says somebody won by something you did not see revealed. Lastly, implementing some basic AI that detects a troll going all-in time-after-time just to ruin a game would be nice. And one more thing, regarding league standings, the losses need to be subtracted from the gains. Not doing so is incentive for trolls repeatedly to go all-in with impunity.
