Great for phone based polar alignment
I have been using phone apps to polar align my star trackers for a number of years as here in the southern hemisphere we don’t have a polestar to use. The update of this app (July 26) is a game changer as it totally removes the reliance on the magnetic compass and allows you to calibrate azimuth with a known star. I can get clean 10 minute tracks using 50 mm lens no problems with minimal hassle during set up (2 min). The developer has to be given huge kudos for a great job. Still some improvement I would like to see, but the app does the job brilliantly.

If you are into astrophotography, from getting started to advanced, you need this app. It's a toolbox to align your telescope and to make sure it's aligned correctly. The latest version especially beings tools to another level that afaik doesn't exist elsewhere.

Best Polar Alignment App Ever!
I am new to astronomy. Learning to align my Sky-Watcher mount has not been easy. This app, with it’s detailed instructions and explanations, is just what I needed to get perfect polar alignment with my mount. Thank you so much!

Fantastic app
This app is absolutely fantastic. The bubble level will help you get your amount perfectly level. The compass will help you point your amount to celestial North. The daytime alignment puts this app on a different level. And finally, when pointing whether you’re in the northern hemisphere with the southern hemisphere, getting poor aligned as simple and accurate! I don’t bother with my polar camera anymore. This is all I need.

Every useful amateur astronomer feature in one app. Super intuitive and no distractions. Polar alignment, Goto with just your phone on top of your scope (Push To), object list sorted by what you care about (magnitude, angular size, etc), all the important astronomy calculations at your fingertips, etc. Just brilliant!

Wonderful APP Loaded with Useful Features
Loads of useful features, especially under the DSO menu, extensive catalog database (Messier, Caldwell, Herschel, NGC, IC, etc). The “PUSH TO: feature using a red BULL’S EYE together with direction arrows serves very well as a finder. The “SYNCH TO TARGET” option fine tunes the finder function. Thanks for the great app.

The best one so far! It has so many tools, a must have. I still didn’t explore it fully.
If I HAVE TO give a 👎 (a small one, I’m used to it since all this time :-) ), the UI is not the easiest to start with this app. Lot of picto, lot of informations. At the beginning, I often was lost. Now, I’ll not change this, I love it.

Работает хорошо. Но есть маленькая проблема с выравниванием полярной оси днем. Очень нужна возможность инвертировать ось Az. Это нужно для монтировки eqm35pro. В данный момент приходится придумывать как закрепить телефон на монтировке.
