About

Pole Vault OS is a fast, private, on-device workspace for pole vaulters and coaches — a place to organize your poles, log every session and jump, and watch your progress climb over time. No spreadsheets, no scattered notes, no account. YOUR POLE QUIVER, ORGANIZED Keep every pole in one inventory: brand, model, length, weight rating, flex number, serial, color, condition, and notes. Poles are grouped into Active and Retired, and each one shows the highest bar you've ever cleared on it at a glance. Because real quivers have near-identical poles, Pole Vault OS labels each one with its specs — length, weight, and flex — and a color everywhere you pick a pole, so you never grab the wrong one. LOG SESSIONS THE WAY VAULTING ACTUALLY WORKS Record each practice or competition with the pole you used, grip height, approach steps, best bar cleared, a feel rating, location, and notes. Then enrich a session with individual jumps — each on a different pole, with its own height and personal-record flag — so a multi-pole day is captured in full. Attach photos and video clips to any jump and play them back right in the app. SEE YOUR PROGRESS A progress dashboard surfaces your personal best, total sessions, competitions, highest grip, and best "push above grip," with charts of best-height and grip-height progression over time and a running list of your PRs. BUILT FOR YOUR UNITS Work in Imperial or Metric. Metric athletes enter heights in meters and centimeters and weights in kilograms — not just a converted read-out — and can switch units anytime without ever changing the data you logged. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything lives on your device. No accounts, no network, no tracking, and no photo-library permission prompt. Your training log is yours alone. MADE TO FEEL GREAT Full Light and Dark mode, Dynamic Type, VoiceOver labels, generous touch targets, a live app-wide accent color, and haptic feedback. Train. Log. Fly.

What's New in Pole Vault OS

1.2

July 2, 2026

Pole Vault OS 1.2 is a big update built around what vaulters actually want to know and capture — plus a top-to-bottom design pass. MULTIPLE JUMPS PER SESSION A session can now hold several notable jumps, each on a different pole with its own bar height, grip height, and "new best" flag. Finally log a day where you PR'd on the 14' pole AND took a big jump on the 15' — instead of flattening it into a single number. PHOTOS & VIDEOS ON YOUR JUMPS Attach photos and video clips to any jump straight from your library. View photos full-screen and play clips right inside the app. Everything stays on your device — nothing is uploaded, and the app never asks for photo-library permission. HIGHEST JUMP, PER POLE Every pole now shows the highest bar you've ever cleared on it, pulled straight from your session and jump history — the one number you want at a glance. Poles you haven't jumped yet show a clear "not logged" prompt. A POLE PICKER THAT TELLS YOUR POLES APART Choosing a pole now opens a picker that shows each pole's specs — length, weight rating, and flex — plus its color, so several identically-named poles are finally easy to tell apart. The pole you pick shows its specs right on the form. ENTER HEIGHTS AND WEIGHTS IN YOUR OWN UNITS Metric athletes now enter heights in meters and centimeters and weights in kilograms — not just read a converted figure. Imperial users get feet, inches, and pounds. Your data is stored the same either way, so switching units never changes what you logged. A CLEANER, MORE CONSISTENT APP - A full design pass following Apple's latest guidelines: consistent margins, spacing, and alignment on every screen. - Fixed the overlapping Feet/Inches steppers in the height fields. - Accent swatches, stat grids, and rating stars now lay out cleanly at every screen size and text size. - Quick edit, delete, or retire a pole or session from a press-and-hold menu. - Faster, lighter scrolling. As always, everything lives entirely on your device. No account, no network, no tracking. Train. Log. Fly.
