The scanners are the main feature, but far from the only ones. Definitely press the + button in the app.

Stations by genre that are off the beaten track. Lots of features like recording streams that aren’t available on most music apps.

Very Useful

I travel on the interstate a lot. If something is going on ahead I can usually scan the area police or state troopers and get an idea. It makes me appreciate the police even more than I already did from what I hear on Police Scanner & Fire Radio. The updates are just great. This is the best scanner app.
