PolicyLens is an independent app for exploring the public datasets published on data.gov, the U.S. government's open data catalog. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the General Services Administration, data.gov, Socrata, or any government agency. Search thousands of datasets by keyword, agency, or topic, then turn the results into bar, line, and categorical charts instead of parsing raw CSV files by hand. Browse by category (housing, health, economy, environment, education), check what's trending, and open a dataset's detail page to see the agency behind it, its date coverage, and its geographic scope. Save the ones you use often to Favorites, or arrange several charts together in a dashboard to compare them side by side. PolicyLens doesn't collect personal information. There's no account, no login, and nothing to sign up for. Searches go directly from your device to the public data.gov API, and Toastfield never sees or logs them.
