The app has fully-customizable content and alert settings, allowing you to stay connected to policy intelligence and news when you’re on-the-go. App content includes Pro breaking news, whiteboard alerts, and articles. Finally, the POLITICO Pro app features Congressional Directory Mobile, a comprehensive and interactive listing of all U.S. Congress members and staff, making it possible to instantly identify and connect with contacts on Capitol Hill. App users will now be able to view their personalized, saved preferences as well as additional information about members of Congress.

Searchable Congressional directory USED to work.

Not sure why this hasn’t been fixed. This was one of the most useful tools in app. Now it hasn’t worked for a long time, and there doesn’t even appear to be an ETA. Not great.

No rotate for iPad?

Issue isn’t with the content, but the usability. The app only supports portrait mode, which is fine for the iPhone. But why doesn’t the iPad version support rotating into landscape orientation? If the app isn’t designed to be compatible with the iPad, the developer should designate it as iPhone only and save iPad users the headache of having to deal with this significant shortcoming.
