Worst App ever invented. It disconnects automatically & you need to set it up again.
Doesn’t work
I simply tried to sign up after downloading and create an account but it doesn’t let me. It kept spinning .. tried with different emails and no luck. Seems like a broken app.

My personal experience
I have finished setting up my Polk sound bar and had no issues at all. The updates on the app have made it almost effortless. I will say for it to work you need to be connected to the same WiFi network. Very happy with the sound quality and will more than likely purchase Polk again.

I’m tech savvy and I couldn’t get this app or soundbar (Polk Command) to function after trying several times and jumping through all the hoops for more than 2 hours. The App hasn’t been updated in 5 yrs, they’ve obviously abandoned scrapped and used what was left of that band wagon for fire wood.

This app is such a disappointment. My soundbar has great sound quality but the connection with the WiFi and Alexa is the worse I have seen in the market. It constantly disconnects. Plus I have to sign into the app so frequently.

Just doesn’t work period- 5years of poor ratings and I have to agree with all of them. If I had known that about Polk, that they obviously don’t GAF I wouldn’t have purchased their product

This app required location, WiFi, network access, and is useless even if you give it those permissions. I’ll never ever purchase anything from Polk again.
Polk clearly can’t be bothered
I’ll be returning my Polk soundbar for a Yamaha one - they actually provide a functional app, whereas Polk has been telling their customers to f off for the 5 years since they last updated the app.

This app can't even function long enough to setup a soundbar and subwoofer. I've already decided and re-downloaded the app 5 times and factory reset the speaker just as many. This app crashed EVERY SINGLE TIME I get to the point of adding it to my wifi network. COMPLETE GARBAGE!!!!!! I will never waste money on a polk audio product again. Hopefully ya'll read the reviews before buying these products because you'll never get them set up.
