The severity comes from Google's Pollen API, on the Universal Pollen Index (0-5), at 1km resolution. We checked it against real pollen-counting stations before we trusted it. ONE ALERT PER ALLERGEN Turn on the allergens you actually react to — Tree, Grass, Ragweed, Weed, Mold — and each one gets its own notification. A ragweed warning never buries a grass warning.
