Bought. Understood. Wrote music unlike anything I’d done before.
I can’t think or imagine polyrhythmic music. I like 4/4. I bought this to challenge myself. An hour in and I think I’m Radiohead reincarnated. Wrote something that kept evolving and it tickled my brain. Very happy with my purchase.

a great quick little multitrack (i.e. poly) melody sequencer. each track can have a different rate/tempo. and this works for modulation eg u can sequence cc midi messages between different instances of polybud in AUM or to other auv3 apps. stellar developer here !!

Good but there is one annoying problem.
I’ve got almost all of the Bud apps and they’re very useful, but there is one problem with all of the ones I’ve tried. Adjusting the play rate is difficult and sometimes just impossible to do. The wheel jumps rather than scrolls and I was trying to use PolyBud with iSymphonic. I wanted to adjust the speed from 1/8 to 1/4 as I was using some strings and wanted to slow them down, but I just couldn’t do it. The wheel is very jerky and jumped between 1/2 and 1/32.
After fiddling with it for nearly half an hour and getting nowhere I just abandoned the project. This problem is present in other Bud apps as well, and I had hoped that it would have been fixed by now. Perhaps everyone else works in 1/8, 1/16 1/32 and even 1/64. I’ve found I can select these speeds relatively easily. Am I unique?
